Thanks. I did a lot of reflecting yestersay and realized how off track i let myself get. So i am starting back at the basics for a few days

I am struggling with the same thing. Have you had any luck?

You have made way too much progress to stop now! Like the surgeons have all told us, the surgery is only a tool. We must be responsible for everything we put in our mouths. Don't fall back into bad habits. Measure your food and eat only that. Go for a walk or do something around the house to just get your mind off of food.…

Congratulations! You look awesome!

Thank you all for sharing your experiences! Knowing that I am not alone is a great help! You don't always hear about everyone's plateaus just that the weight just fell off. I just have to trust the program.

Great job!!

You look amazing! Great job!

That is awesome!! I feel like I am struggling with my 2nd plateau and I am only four weeks post op. I don't get it. I am following the program. Like you said in your original post, Chrissy, I feel like my body is failing me. I seem to never be able to get past a certain point.

Congratulations on going back to school and getting into your weight range! I don't have much advice for you on eating because you are way ahead of me on the WLS journey (I am 3 weeks out) but I too am going back to school Monday and I will be 40 in November

I thought it was from protein shakes, that is when I feel mine is the worst. I bought some SF mints to help as well.

I am finishing up my first month and just did drench for the first time and I about died!

I tried it for about 6 weeks. Didn't feel it was working, probably only lost a pound or two. I couldn't handle the side effects. My fingers would be stiff and I couldn't bend them, especially in the evenings. I was exhausted and couldn't even motivate myself to exercise consistently. Then the cost too. I weighed the bad…

Thanks. I have searched but haven't been able to find it

Congratulations on your weight loss so far! Gastric surgery has crossed my mind quite a few times and I am fearful to do it because I am an emotional eater and I don't want to do the surgery only to have it fail for me. But that is just me. I wish you the best of luck in your decision and if you have the surgery good luck…

You look awesome! Congratulations on reaching your goal!

Dark chocolate has lower carbs, look for the ones that have a high % of cacoa :) There are tons of recipes online for chocolate treats. You just have to think outside the box

I have been trying to go low carb since the beginning of the year and have had some off meals. Just have it in your mind that you are going to get back on the low carb the next day. As for Valentine'd Day just try to be picky on what you eat, steak and salad maybe. Good luck. I know that eating low carb can sometimes feel…

Yes I am a compulsive overeater.

I am still here :)

If I had one, I would be back where I was last year at this time :(

Thank you everyone for posting your results! They are all very inspirational. I ran into an issue with going to the gym now that my kids are out of school for the summer. So I finally broke down and bought a copy on Amazon at a discounted price - $65. I am only 5 days in and am hoping for some serious results.

I have recently started Insanity and have been ok and I am heavy. I am not able to keep up with him on everything but then again, some of the people on the video fall out as well. I do it at my pace and feel I will get better as I lose weight and when I go through it more than once.

Awesome job!!!
