  • There really isnt any trick here. Just start swimming. Find a masters swim class in your area and they will help improve your form and efficiency and then... just do it! good luck
  • Excellent, thanks! I'll add adductor abductor and glute/hip exercises over the next 2 weeks before I start running again. I guess I'll just swim and lift until the pain leaves. I'm just hoping that 3 weeks will be enough time to taper up and then back down before my 1/2...

  • Hot/cold treatments and NSAIDs. The best thing though is to just listen to your body. If you hurt then stop! I started to have small pains in my feet which ended up developing into massive tendon strains... I couldn't even walk! So don't push yourself too hard, listen to your leg, let it heal, and then run on! Good luck :)

  • Honestly, I don't really trust my body fat machine (electronic) but it tells me I'm at 14%.... I'm aiming for single digits by the end of the summer and would love to maintain 7%... But, honestly, I know that's a long shot.
