The OP isn't likely to tell you, but you are getting some good info. Don't torture yourself, eat what you want in a calorie deficit. Buy a food scale for accuracy. Ditch the Herbalife.

8lbs in 2 months is a pound per week. I'd say you are making progress! We can't dictate where the far comes off our bodies, but keep eating at a deficit and it'll come off in time. ETA: unless under the supervision of a doc, you should NOT be eating under 1200 calories. That is the minimum for females, 1500 for males.

I do IF, but you should know, it's not a diet but a way of eating. It's a way to control your calorie intake. I've been doing it for about a year and like it. If it helps put you in a calorie deficit, I say go for it.

Ween yourself off the scale or use a trend app if you must weigh everyday. Maybe take measurements instead, as a way of documenting your progress. Your weight WILL FLUCTUATE. Water weight, TOM, etc... Weight loss is not linear.

Cheerios Protein cereal promises 11g of protein (with 8 oz of milk)...

Detoxes are woo. Please read this thread: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1159755/looking-for-a-detox-cleanse/p1

So this is a thread where: 1. OP posts about ACV. 2. OP gets helpful tips about ACV, and it's non-benifit for weight loss. 3. The occasional random person comes in every once and a while (after the thread is almost dead) to say "it works". 4.OP never read the helpful tips in the first place, OR saw helpful tips, and didn't…

+1 for logging everything you eat to see what you're consuming. Recommend getting a food scale for accuracy. Also, read the "most helpful" threads on the Getting Started board. Good luck!

Coke zero!

Start at the most helpful posts on the "getting started" board. My tips (assuming your goal is to lose weight): But a food scale for accurate intake logging. Don't cut out any foods you enjoy. Good luck!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

If ACV did anything for weight loss, there would be a shortage, and you'd have to pay $20 per bottle. OP simply get yourself in a sustainable calorie deficit. Be honest and accurate with your diary. Don't keep looking for shortcuts, there are none. Good luck!

CICO is how EVERYONE loses weight (aside from surgery). Be it "Keto" "Vegan" "Paleo" whatever. Some people use these ways of eating to get into a deficit, but still lose weight the same, CICO.

Group accountability is fleeting though. You can have someone tell you "good job" or "way to go" but ultimately YOU gotta put the work in to be successful. OP it's important to learn good habits. Learn habits that put you into a deficit. And btw, have a donut! Fit it into your caloric allowance and STILL lose weight. As…

*que the guitar into for Beavis & Butthead* That does make sense, I really appreciate it! Hopefully more people take advantage of the knowledge here. I can say, the "sexy pants" thread is spammed often, I link it for newbies too. Thanks again!

Morning, after potty. Before any food.

Are BCAAs beneficial? I train fasted before the end of my 16 hour fast. Do they do anything?
-
Carbs aren't the enemy, and meal timing is irrelevant. Calories can't tell time. As long as you are in a deficit (either daily or weekly) you will lose weight, if that is your goal. Personally, I eat 2 big meals a per day. Don't have time for 6 smaller ones.
-
This! ETA: For you OP, be honest and accurate with your logging. And make sure you're in a deficit!
-
That's a good one!
-
How are you measuring your calorie intake? Use a food scale, if not already. The last few lbs are the hardest. Set your goal to "lose .5 lbs per week" and measure all your food intake (and liquid if they contain calories, milk, beer etc...) Have patience and good luck!
-
okie dokie, good luck to you!

Ignore this. Not enough info to go crazy here. OP didn't say they are fasting for a month. I do IF and I'm gaining muscle.
-
I can see not liking the gym. But I like mine. 2 minutes from work, not busy enough to have to wait for anything. 10 bucks a month, but cheaper since I did a buy one year get the next free. Lots of good stuff you can do at home though. Body weight and a few weights can go a long way.

Sugar is not evil. All foods in moderation. Cutting out anything (or trying to) be it sugar, carbs, fats or whatever will likely not be sustainable. Good luck OP!
-
Low carb does not equal weight loss. Calorie deficit equals weight loss. ETA: Are you measuring your intake with a food scale?
-
Nope. Don't be.
-
While exercise is good, it's not required for weight loss.
