  • We have a Packer Game December 8th and one of my mini goals is to not feel like a sardine in a can all squished together in the stands from chubbyness lol Great work and keep it up!
  • I use the Total Lean 25 as its great for meals on the go or to kill a sweet tooth. I use almond milk, ice and some chia seeds and when blended its gets like soft serve ice cream YUM Orange Cream and Chocolate PB are my favorites
  • Breakfast is many times my largest meal of the day. But it truely depends on the person. You should eat or not eat based off how YOU feel not what others tell you to do
  • In for the recipe :)
  • I try and do black or with a lil milk during the week and then weekends I use flavored creamer so its like indulgent then  I also watch for flavored coffee grounds to go on sale and then use that here and there. As others said above, just make room for it in your calories/plan. I know for me that I should not start…
  • I use my Polar FT4 HRM is my source of truth. If you look up exercises on MFP you'll get one number, the machine at the gym will state another number, and my HRM different as well. I just always use my HRM and log those calories burned on MFP.
  • This... I get up, pee, and get on the scale. If I see a loss or a maintain, great! If I see the scale go up it just keeps me more focused for the day with my meals and workouts. As others stated trying to not obsess is hard so I allow a daily weigh in just in the morning, but only log on Monday mornings.
  • Not vegetarian here however my staples are: chicken breast, ground turkey, pork loin chops, tilapia, LOTS of eggs, shredded cheese, green peppers, onions, berries, cucumbers, brocoli, green beans, asparagus, apples, peanut butter and PB2, protein powders, mustard(s), light sour cream, phew.... I don't need to buy all week…
  • Chicken with Spicy Brown Mustard, asparagus and a HUGE glass of water
  • I agree they are totally worth it! I am out at the moment and now want one reallly bad for a treat  They are great to keep in your purse for times when you are hungry and need to make a good choice and also for grabbing before the gym or as a breakfast or snack. Some of my favorites are: apple pie, cinnamon roll,…
  • There are lots of beginner programs online. Just search around and then choose/modify one to get you started. Glad to here you are not afraid of lifting heavy. I agree with others stick with a program and when weights are no longer difficult on your last set of reps then its key to up your weights. There are split…
  • When I start to get bored with plain water I'll use some MIO or Crystal Light drops, or make a pitcher in the fridge and throw in some fruit that I have. I try and limit my water add in's however if I need help getting my water in I don't hesitate to put a few drops of flavor in.
  • Quest Bar and coffee, coffee with a scoop(s) of protein powder, or just food!! Depends on the day and what my protein/carb needs are for the day after meals. I have done powdered pre workouts but find that correct eating does just as much good for my energy levels. And costs less  Today was cold coffee with 1 scoop…
  • Whole eggs plus additional egg whites, LOTS of chicken, fish, turkey, lean beef, beans, nuts, and a protein shake if I need it for the day. However I'd rather eat my food than drink it so I try daily to make my protein just by food and then maybe use a shake as an afterworkout drink. Chicken can get boring however I add…
  • sent you a friend request :) my diary is open to friends as well. And I like to eat FOOD not drink magical drinks to make me "lose weight" haha
  • I agree with posters above. If you're new to the intense exercise your body will take time to start showing results on the scale. However, having physical inches leaving your body is an AWESOME NSV!!! If you go another week without a change on the scale then might be best to take another look at your meal plan :drinker:
  • Something small but I noticed my neck looking thinner while driving yesterday and I ran into a friend while shopping who commented on my skin when I wasn't even wearing any makeup :blushing: It's the lil things
  • If you're still taking members for the Challenge I'd love to join! Heading to Mexico April 22nd and want to feel my best!!
  • 34 in May add me :flowerforyou:
  • We are also heading to Mexico in about 5 weeks. Our Resort has an abundance of healthy foods at the buffets and resturants. Buffet is for breakfast and lunch and then the resturants are for dinner. Breakfast there is an omlet station, tons of fresh fruits and produce, yogurt, and of course all the usual breakfast treats.…
  • I tend to eat the same meals everyday and its what works for me. I sometimes allow myself a "cheat" meal persay on the weekends but I feel like it takes me off track. Everyone is different and everything in moderation. I agree with others though your menu doesn't seem very filling. Maybe add in more lean protein and some…
  • Resturant food is usually very high is sodium so your one steak could be the biggest offender of your bloat. When I know I'll be dining out I up my water intake even more the day of of and after. Not sure if you had any drinks or not but alcohol bloat can take up to a week to get completely outta your body. Stinks but…
  • You look so beautiful and so much younger. What a great inspiration to all of us on this get healthy journey.
  • I try and exclude my trigger foods and that's it. And if I DO eat them I don't beat myself up over it Sugary and baked goods (YUMMMMM) Snacky foods: chips, crackers, salty goodness I do best of a "eat close to the same thing(s) everyday" kinda plan and it keeps me more satisfied and not wanting my No No foods. But everyone…
  • I LOVE breakfast but I don't eat it until after fasted cardio. So by the time I'm done with cardio its almost like my treat for a great workout! I do eat the same things most all days so breakfast for me is black coffee, greek yogurt or a Quest bar and a protein shake. I do eat every 2.5-3 hours per day and this works for…
  • I joined a new gym which is also a beauty salon/spa and right on the front desk is a HUGE bowl of candy/nuts/dried fruit ugh.... Everytime I sign in I make a comment and they all laugh. I just remind myself how gross it is that LOTS of people dig in with there bare hands... We all have will power down deep inside or we…

  • my office is the same way.... not only does the stock piles of junk food and sweets grow so does everyone who works there... I have the option to work from home most days so I dread the days I have to drive in... like today. Today someone is leaving our team so were having a brunch send off party. On the list of things to…
  • I had lots of trouble getting enough water daily. I was never much of a soda drinker but loved my coffee with LOTS of flavored creamer. I quit creamer cold turkey and now only have 1-2 cups of coffee with a little splenda. It took about 1.5 weeks to really get over the want for the extra cream. In order to get my water in…
