Hi, Tina here, Love what was said here. You got the right idea. 136 is THE perfect weight for your height and age! Like he said start working on your endurance with cardio drills and strength and more cardio drills and you will no longer be out if shape, and not only will you feel better, your body will transform into a…

Not exactly an expert, but be sure to find a reliable source of protein, especially if working out. Also, keep an eye on your calcium, last thing you want is to mess up your body and contract osteoporosis.

Some of the responses were so adorably endearing, that I am having a very hard time, not making a nuisance out of my self and friending some of you, because you made me laugh. Good luck on the friend thing everyone.

Dog lover, fish killer, guess we can not be friends. Best wishes on your fitness journey, though!

Ladies, I cannot tell you what an encouragement this post is. I am 46' and almost 5'9" and although not as tall as many of you, I am still taller than most women I know, and men too. Is it not hard enough for us tall girls without this weight thing? I found that because I distribute weight well and wear it well, that I can…

thanks for posting the question. I really got a lot out of the discussion.

Just a chuckle....I only run if being chased too! :noway:

Sorry so late, add me too!

Drama llama, love it!

Congrats by the way, I just hit the big 20 too.

I think this is a great topic and I just wanted to chime in. Personally, when others are a vampiric drain and consistently are checked out in their ability to connect appropriately with others, they probably aren't a good source for friendship and one can delete them at will. Nothing worse than guilt trips and drama…

Would love to have more friends that spin! I love it and try to get in 3x a week! If you would like motivation and encouragement, message me, more friends for the journey is always good.

Same here, at first the conditioning is brutal. Tiny seat, big bum. Up, down, faster slower, legs like rubber. Heal up, go back...build your workout, and consecutive days, will soon be nothing. Have fun!
-
Love it! It is a great low impact cardio that really burns the calories and it is fun. You'll either hate it, or love it.
-
As I read through all the posts, I was stunned. You all inspire me and should be applauded for your courage and tenacity. Thank you for sharing your journey with me. I guess we all have things to overcome.

Did this on come through?

Checking in! Hi everyone. Had so much fun last month....thanks for hosting again this month too. Have decided to log spin class as a 20 mile ride, not to worry I understand that indoor and outdoor ARE two differing beasts, so no matter I will log accordingly. Here is my ticker <a…

Yeah I always feel like the goal is sooo far away. It'll happen though.

In hopes of making this month more challenging, and creating that amazing cyclist body that I desire I have upped my standard to 200 miles....win or lose it really is how you play the game. <a href="http://www.TickerFactory.com/exercise/wsdzBI4/"> <img border="0"…

November 02, 2013 4:40 pm Way to go keep up the good work!

So happy for you, you deserve to be happy and healthy! Keep going and don't give up.

This will be my second month and I am not sure where to put the goal. I noted that a few people respond by placing the quote in the reply, can anyone give pointers on that? I would love to comment and encourage sometimes, but it's senseless when all cannot read it. #notsotechno

Cricket, you are awesome! Thank you for posting this challenge, I am having an amazing time and I have a feeling that the creepy Skelton nails ARE too cute, and boy have I been there, going too light on breakfast.
-
Ok, today was so awesome! I have been pushing the spin dial for more than a few weeks, upping the resistance. TODAY, it was all worth it, as she pushed us hard, I was able to maintain well, AND didn't feel tired, or exhausted. Feeling top nines after today's workout! Here's the ticker!

Oh, I dislike cold ears. How about a bandana of some sort, thin, but still a little protection. Just try not to look like a biker thug.

Tired and burnt out, two days of cycle and I am just not feeling the joy. Probably started shorting the caloric intake too much and my grumpy got stuck. Now I got the grump. I hate grump! Anyway here is the ticker. Maybe I should skip a day between cycle and try to shake off that funky grump. Anyone have a grump be gone…

Tilt! I tilted my ticker at 132 today. After all, it is just spin, right? But, still I am emphatically happy and thankful for the challenge and now I know what I can do and what I can't with Spin @ 3 times a week.
