i know how you are feeling. sometimes i find myself pacing up and down wanting to eat but knowing i should not. also i have spent months binging and i am trying to stop that. still yesterday i had to go to the supermarket to pick up some stuff. being there and looking at all the food that i could not buy wound me up sooooo…

I might need to review when i test after food. I usually test 2 hrs after i finish eating. What if one has a leisurely lunch or dinner? if you say spread your food over an hour...whatever food you ate last is going to effect you later than the food you ate an hour earlier?...not sure if this all makes sense!!

Hi I just joined at the suggestion of a member on a different group. I have never been to a meeting - not sure there are any over here, but I am at a point where I want to leave it all behind. I love good food, but food does not have to have such a hold on me.

Based on what i found on various calculators: BMR is 1895kcal TDEE is 2277kcal if i reduce 20% that should give me 1822kcal and lose 45lbs in a year.... i then worked backwards to see what kcal i need to eat if i wanted to lose 1lbs or 2lbs a week: 1lbs - 1529kcal 2lbs - 1277 kcal but…

I tried the shirataki noodles and they were not too bad. i had heard some horrible stories....but i rinsed them with boiling water and then i dried fried them. i added some soy sauce and waited until that dried. the consistency of the noodles is not the same as normal noodles but on the whole not too bad at all!! i shall…

i have been thinking about this as i am out for a meal tomorrow. It is an italian place so lots of pizza and pasta but as i have to limit my carbs, i will try and stick to asparug for starters, chicken for main and no pudding :( not sure how to log it but i ll try to not eat much during tomorrow...
