I don't know the "official" rule. LOL as if there was one. But I eat green beans. On the Whole30 they say as long as you eat the pod you can eat the bean/pea. I'm not as strict as some folks though. To me it is an individual decision to make.

A super easy one would be Franks Red Hot and butter to make buffalo chicken. I usually use thighs but the leg meat should work equally well. Not only is it really easy but it is what I used to transition my kids away from only eating breast meat. Who doesn't love buffalo chicken?

I buy the best lunch meat I can and I roll it up. Sometimes I roll bell pepper strips inside, sometimes a really good cheese. Sometimes I give them something to dip it in like homemade honey mustard. Also hard boiled or deviled eggs are a favorite.

I don't care for bananas but I love plantains. If I eat a high carb vegetable or fruit I usually have it for breakfast. First it keeps me fuller until lunch and helps me snack less. Second it has lots of time to burn off before bedtime.
