  • Really interesting! Thanks for posting this.
  • I'm a gamer! I'm a PS3 and Nintendo 3ds person. Currently replaying LA Noire after finishing my 3rd play through our dragon age origins. I haven't yet dared to play skyrim as I hear it's a total life sink!
  • Story is fairly similar to mine, however, I only left ww because they changed to evil-makes no sense-released far to early-pro points. I liked how specific the original points plan was. So now on this and liking being specific about calories again! Best of luck with your journey on here!
  • CW - 157.2 GW for the end of the month - 153 Personal goals I want to achieve for the month are just the creation of healthy habits again so drinking 2 litres of water per day (ideally 2.5 litres), eating 5 pieces of veg/fruit per day and exercising 3 times per week.
  • GW - 142.5, which will give me a total loss of 70 pounds. CW - 157.2
  • I've been fat all my life, of the few things I remember about my childhood is my mums friends always commenting on "what a big girl" I was. I joined weight watchers a few years ago and lost 60 pounds which brought me into the tippy toe of a normal weight range. Although I feel better for it and like being able to go into…
  • Good post! I binge when I'm low and / or bored. I tend to drink when I'm feeling down and this obviously lowers any resistance that I have to stop eating. So I'm trying to cut down my alcohol consumption and not drink when I'm home alone. I'm also finding that having a plan for the day of what I'm allowed to eat is keeping…
  • Good article. I've also read that when you gain weight you gain more fat cells, and when you lose weight you merely shrink the fat cells - you never get rid of them and this is another reason why previously overweight people need to watch what they eat, because it's easy to re-inflate those fat cells again.
  • I think you have to be careful about eating back all your exercise calories because most of us don't have a definitive way of tracking how many calories have been burnt (I know there are body counters you can buy that will tell you when you burn, but they're pretty dear) and the machines at the gym can't always be…
  • Best of luck! That's definitely a motivator to get there!
  • I'm 5'7 and currently 158 - aiming for 142 which will make me have a total 70 pounds lost. Been maintaining between 155 and 160 over the last 10 - 12 months and now aiming to lose the last part!
  • I lost about about 65 pounds then gained about 15 back. Back on it now. My goal was to lose 70 pounds so bit gutted I never made it - will make it this time though!
  • Thats amazing! Can't believe you've lost so much in such a short space of time! Well done!
