  • Well, growing up my mom never did any of the crazy diets but she wasn't the best cook in the world either so we had a lot of hamburger helper, fried chicken, etc. When she wanted to loose weight she would just have yogurt for breakfast and lunch and then eat dinner. But she always made sure that I ate a somewhat normal…
  • Oh wow... a new Wii game I will need to look into!! :)
  • Umm... YES, you do need to cut yourself some slack! And 5 lbs in one week is really good progress! But I understand where you are coming from. I've lost 10 lbs but I still have a long way to go and I still don't feel very attractive in a lot of things and I tend to beat myself up as well. I find it easier to go shopping…
  • I'm 5'4" and I'm not even shooting for 125!! But let me just go on the record and say that I am very top heavy... as in bustful... and I'm pretty sure I would fall over if I weighed 125! When I was at 130 everyone thought I was sick so I would like to get to about 135-140 eventually. I'm starting with baby steps for now…
  • I'm going to have to try this one... sounds yummy!
  • I looked at your pics... Great job!! You look amazing! :)
  • Wow! That's impressive! If you can manage the 70 lbs then you just have to find that motivation but once you do the other 10-15 lbs will be a breeze. Keep it up and good work! :)
  • LOL... I really like the jeans in the pantry one... I may try that!! I love to read so I find a book that I really, really want to read and I only let myself read it while I'm on the bike at the gym. It makes me look forward to heading to the gym. ;)
  • Well, this definitely sounds like something of interest to me! I am married and we have someone staying with us now. But a lot of nights my husband, Mike and his BFF Kenny (the guy staying with us) end up at the bar. That is, if Mike isn't working late! So more times than not I am eating dinner alone. My husband runs his…
  • Welcome Michelle! I'm kind of a newbie on here as well. I used it for a month and then got away from it and now I'm back on here religiously. I don't really have any friends on here so if you want to add me feel free. Support is always good! Either way, good luck and this site is a big help! :)
  • I've changed some that I know for a fact are wrong myself... but if I'm not 100% sure I leave them alone and just double check my info and add in a new product. I've also found a lot of the stuff to be correct. I have a harder time when I use my own recipes though... I'm not sure how to figure out the calories and so forth…
  • I've actually been that way most of my life. LOL... but I've found that eating smaller meals w/snacks in between helps. I've started keeping protein shakes with me at work for my snacks. I was amazed by how well they work and how full they actually made me feel.
  • Welcome! I just joined earlier today as well. I, myself, have type 1 diabetes so I have similar goals as you do. Unfortunately, I have been dieting and exercising for over 2 months and haven't lost a pound yet. Maybe you can give me a few pointers on how you've lost that 25 lbs? :flowerforyou:
