There are a lot of women who eat a lot more than 1200 calories and lose. These would be the women that lift/workout and realize that eating 1200 calories does nothing but make you hate life..lol I eat 1700 and could probably eat more but this works for me right now.

I do Jillian Micheals 30 day shred which has a little bit of weights in but I do have to wear my brace for lunges and squats. Its somethign to get you started and I use 3 lb weights right now. I am pretty sure you can get the videos on You Tube.

My question is why would you weigh again? You shouldn't live or die by the number on the scale. I may not like what it shows but that is just what it is. To answer your question though it maybe where you are standing on the scale. There is no way you are going to stand on the scale in the EXACT same place every time.…

If you love video games then get one that gets you moving. Depending upon what type of system you have try a Biggest loser or a Zumaba or EA Active... Then you can do them in your room. You can do it. We believe in you!

ok my first question is how long are you eating at these calories before you are changing? Changing weekly isn't going to do anything for you.

You can do it! Stay away from the cookies. I personally can't stop either so I try not to have 1 at all.

It would help to bake instead of deep fry them. Also you can take chicken breasts and pan fry with spritz of cooking spray just so they don't stick and season with garlic and pepper, no breading. Yummy!

I made myself a little spreadsheet and i noted the places I measured, ie, natural waist, 1" above belly button, hipbones. Etc so that each time I can try to be as close to the same spot.

I drink a slim fast for breakfast most mornings just because something comes up in the morning and I don't get to scramble eggs.

I was recently told to make sure that your feet are pointed out a little when you do squats, not straight forward. That has helped my knee tremendously. Squats will help tone up that butt!

I have been doing it every other day. When I can do the push ups in level 1 the "big girl way" not on my knees I will move to the next level.

Probably a lot of sodium. Just drink lots of water and weigh yourself next week. Don't sweat the small stuff. I know how important it is to see that number go down but really give it some time to get out of your system. Unless you ate like a half a cow, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yep, Christmas eve is going to be my splurge. I hope to get in some excercise but I am certainly not counting how many oreo truffles I eat because I am sure that i can consume my whole day's calories with just them =) I will try to not go CRAZY but I am not counting that day for sure.

You might want to check to see if its TOM when you do this eating. If you know its coming then you might be able to get it out of the house. I find that even if I am not hungry, there are times where I will eat everything to where I am almost sick and its usually a few days before my TOM. Just a thought.

As you are getting more fit, I think that you carry yourself differently. So you tend to look better no matter what. You are probably looking good because you are losing inches vs pounds. When I was working out more i was 5 lbs heavier but belly was slimmer.

I had to go cold turkey with the sweets, candy, soda (even diet) for about 3 weeks. After that it wasn't an automatic response. I was able to then evaluate if I really wanted it or not. I do for tea because I use sugar to sweeten and thats 45 cals. If you are drinking tea/coffee straight then I would think not, then again I don't know if coffee has calories..... I wouldn't want someone to look at my diary and think that i just eat 3 tsp of sugar every day..LOL If you have a soda, there is sodium in it…

Peanut Butter is a good source of calories with protein. Often you can eat a spoonful or put it on some toast and you are good.

I think that as a bigger person starting out, you will see higher losses in the first couple of weeks. Like some else said, be prepared for that week when you lose only 2 or none at all. I know I lost 7 in my first week and then it went to 1 or 1.5 then none. Just don't be discouraged or disappointed when it happens.

People have so many excuses (myself included) until you are ready to face your demons you can ask all the questions in the world but you won't put them into play. Those receipes are fast, cheap and easy. You don't have to go crazy with nothing but salad and chicken to lose weight.. Great ideas!

I think that for some people it will be. I personally know that I will always have a little pooch no matter how much weight I lose. I have had that always. I have seen some people on here with some rocking abs and no pooch so I do believe it is possible. How much time that will take, well I don't know.
