Looking for the same. 41M. Had previously been down to 170 lbs, went back up to 210 during the pandemic. Currently sitting at 195ish, and could use somebody to keep me on track. Send me a friend request if you like.

Good points. Sometimes I worry about the "goal" thing. It makes you feel like when you hit it, then... What, you're done? You can STOP eating healthy and going to the gym? I'm doing my best this time to treat a goal as something to work towards and through rather than a finish line.

I actually started on mfp years ago. I lost 40 pounds (from 210 down to 170) but then fell off the wagon and put 20 of it back on. Now trying to get back to where I was and beyond.

I used to be into rock climbing. Last fall, I tried climbing a route that used to be easy for me, and the 30 pounds I'd gained made it feel like trying to climb a ladder with a toddler strapped to my back. That's my petty reason.

My boss just opened a box of peanut butter patties. They're my weakness, but I'm holding strong... for now...

All things in moderation. I had Rotini and homemade pork meatballs for supper tonight... and finished the day under 1500 calories! There's nothing wrong with carbs. Just don't cook more than you need.

I'm Sam, 31, from Portland. Four weeks ago, I went to my doctor and weighed in at 220, so I decided to make some changes. Since then I've lost 16.5 lbs. My goal is to get down to 180 by Christmas, and ultimately to maintain at somewhere around 160 or 170.
