Whey works fine for me and I personally think hemp is gross

If you have a stomach bug and are LCHF then it's most likely the fat that's upsetting your stomach more and not the low carb, but that's just my opinion as that is what happened to me and it wasn't easy to stay strict keto for me at that time and just the thought of fat was revolting to me. Not sure how low carb you are…

I had to look that one up...lol. As long as it fits into your calorie and health goals I can't imagine it would bother anything. Some people report constipation with too much cheese, but others are okay with it.

This may help: When I find the food I am looking for I copy and paste it to mfp's food search, check to make sure it has the right calories and then enter it to my diary. https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/search

You can always have your doctor check your hormone levels to see if you are perimenopausal or not. Different life factors dictate how early you start, I started when I was 35 and I was postmenopausal at 51 (I am 54). Everyone has different symptoms, different levels of crabbiness, and sleep is definitely affected

Sure the heck wish I could have 1000 calories left!

I had to laugh at that! My first impression when talking about "bulletproof coffee" was butter in coffee...eewww! But it is rather good, at least to me. 1 tablespoon Butter -- grass fed or not, unsalted or not...I prefer the salted. 1 tablespoon of coconut oil -- organic or not, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional) put all that…

What kind of fried foods are we referring to here? If I take a potato, slice it up and Fry it in olive oil how is it not offer much nutrition? Same with a fried pork chop? The nutrition of the food is still there, but if someone covers the food with a lot of flour and such then it's possible that the calories outweigh the…

I just had 4 tablespoons whipping cream, whipped and added 3 drops of stevia and 1/2 tsp creme boquet (blend of extracts) and mixed that with 2 tablespoons of Tahini (ground sunflower seeds) and 1 tablespoon Torani Carmel flavored Syrup. Very yummy.

1) my apologies for the misunderstanding, I meant that it was easier for me to control my CICO eating this way 2) No, I know it's not the carbs that make me fat, it's over eating the carbs and the stuff that goes on them...lol that I had had problems with, that and the medical condition that made it extremely hard for me…
-
yes, I am aware of what CICO means and then it can be done on any way of eating and when I say reintroduce carbs per say I am speaking of more vegetables (which I love), a few more fruits, and some whole grains...think oatmeal, quinoa and such. I also plan on having cake and ice cream at birthday parties, something I…

I am 54, 5'4" with 63 lbs left to lose, I have set mine to lose 1 lbs a week, because for me the calorie deficit is too large for me to maintain on days that I am not so busy.

Welcome to MFP and I wish you lots of luck on your difficult journey. I personally believe it's a bit harder to watch how much you eat on the go, no easy way to measure what your eating if you are eating at the local truck stops. It's not impossible though! You could easily buy some Ziploc snack bags or small seal-able…

too bad they don't sell those snack packs individually...noooo, they have to have them in a box of 20 or so

Did ya'll just jump into eating this way or did you do your research first?

I am eating keto level carbs (20g and under) and I get my blood work done next month and I will be able to compare it to my last ones. I am interested to see if my cholesterol and triglyceride levels have risen and if they have then I will be modifying something...maybe more olive/avocado oil in place of coconut? We shall…

I've read a bit about it, but never took any suppliments for it. I probably get enough with the foods that I eat as it is found mainly in dairy and meat

and why do you feel this way?
