  • Hi everyone! I started 30 DS 5 days ago. I did it before it was became pregnant and had great results. My twins are almost 2 and I back to getting in shape. This time I so motivated to do it with minimal breaks. I will complete it in less than 40 days and not the 60 like the first time. Please feel free to add me as a…
  • Hey there! My twins are almost 3 months now but thought I would chime in. I only gained 5 lbs with my twin pregnancy. No, I wasn't trying not to gain. I didn't have the pregnancy cravings and I continued to swim up until I delivered at 37 weeks. Every person and every pregnancy is different. As long as your doctor isn't…
  • Due Nov. 13th. Super excited. 1st for hubby and I.
  • Take pictures and measurements is always a good thing. Sometimes the scale doesn't show, that's why I've put mine away and haven't stepped on it in awhile. Has your stamina increase? I can tell you from starting turbofire that my stamina has gone up. I could barely make it through the workouts without having to modify or…
  • When I don't feel like working out, I take out my phone look at my before and after pics and see how far I have come and know that I never want to get back to that person who was hiding behind the extra weight. Plus it feels so good after a workout. Worth it every time.
  • I started C25K back in late September and have been on Week 4 for a while due to work, holidays, but I started back other day in Week 4 with no probs. Would love to have other runners motivate me along the way. Add me as a friend. I log on everyday.
  • Hey there all, I am also losing weight before the hubby and I start trying to conceive. Please feel free to add me. Would love to have people with same goals. Tonya
  • I would like to join. Just ordered it since it was part of the beachbody black friday deals. So excited. Hope I get it in time to start.
  • Log it under circuit training, general in MFP. If you use a HRM, you can adjust the calories burned accordingly. Hope this helps. I just finished 30 DS and I have never felt stronger. Lost a good amount of inches. Good luck to you!
  • I have 8 more days of Level 3. I took rest days plus I'm also doing C25K as well so I knew it would take me a little longer. The key is to not giving up and finish strong.
  • I have few more days left of shred because of rest days. I plan on doing TurboFire and continuing with my C25K. I may do another Jillian DVD in a month or so.
  • Day 19 completed and did a little of Level 3. Tomorrow is last day of Level 2 for me plus my running day.
  • Day 1 of Level 2 completed. The sweat was dripping off me. Have to admit, I was liking some of the plank moves. My shoulders are looking more toned and body is take a good curve not the allover curves...lol.
  • I do C25K three times a week as well as 30 DS, plus 4 mile walk/run with the hubby on weekend. And sometimes I add in the elliptical or bicycling.
  • Day 7 Completed W2D2 of C25K Completed Up my weights from 3lb to 5lb today and felt more of a burn. Will move up to Level 2 on Weds, a day early. Good job everyone!!
  • I started with 3lbs and used them today but it felt like nothing. I was going to up them tomorrow to my 5lbs and see how it feels. But the few minutes I did of level 2 was really good. Felt more of a burn with that level. Good point amber_arend.... I only did modified version Day 1. I've been pushing it with the regular…
  • I agree as well. Need to up my weights to 5lbs. I started low with 3lbs. But I did venture into doing some of Level 2 today. It was my Day 5 today. Has anyone considered moving into Level 2 sooner? Just wondering.
  • I'm on Atkins....1 month into now.
  • Completed Day 5 today and I did try a few minutes of Level 2 as well. May need to upgrade to 5lb weights, my 3lbs are feeling a little light now. Has this happen to anyone else? I took Thurs as a rest day and did my C25K plus bicycling that day. I haven't weighed yet because I am convinced my scale is possessed and is not…
  • Hi there, I used to weigh over 300 lbs and I can say it took about 50 lb weight loss before it was even noticeable to me or anyone else. With that being said, when you are losing weight of course you want to see some progress as a motivation factor. You have to realize sometimes it doesn't come at the pace we would like. I…

  • Day Three Completed. Didn't push myself as Day Two.....was feeling bloated today for some reason. But ready for Day 4 plus my C25K W2D1 tomorrow.
  • Awesome!!! Congrats to you!!
  • I'm taking a rest day just because I'm doing C25K plus lots of elliptical during the week. I've noticed I need to increase my calories because of the exercise regime. On my rest day, I plan to go swimming or talk a leisure walk around lakes.
  • Woohoo! Day Two done! And I didn't phone it in today. I pushed it then went to gym and did my C25K and elliptical. I feel really good now. Excited about Day Three.
  • Well, I'm newly married, but being healthy is something my hubby and I are both advocates of. Now, hubby is slim with a rock solid body and in great shape. Me, not so much. I used to weigh over 300 lbs, got down to 165 few years ago, but then 50 lbs creeped back on. My husband completely supports my efforts to get healthy…
  • You could try JM dvd Killer Buns and Thighs....great workout for that area. It definitely has me breaking a good sweat while doing the workouts but the inches I've lost with it are totally worth it.
  • Day One Completed...this sounds silly but looking forward to this afternoon to do Day 2.
  • I am in. Will start today as well. I am 32, recently married, no kids for us just yet! Looking to get back in shape. I'm alternating the 30 day shred with C25K so it may take me a little longer but I'm in it for the long haul.
  • I too started C25K last week and the first day was bad. My problem is that I was trying to run too fast. Start off slow and adjust the speed as you learn what form is best for you. Concentrate on learning to breathe correctly while running. Don't be afraid to repeat weeks if you have to. I am doing week 1 for the 2nd week…

  • I've always been told to look for shoes at the end of the day. Our feet tend to slightly swell up over the course of the day, due to the hours of walking and standing that they endure. As a result, we should try on shoes at the end of the day in order to ensure that they will be comfortable throughout.
