  • Just like you described, soreness and almost a tired feeling. I have a Running Room by my house, so I'll go there, sounds like they should be able to help. At least like PP said, this will be a starting point for me. If I try it and it doesn't work, I'll look into other options. I'll try shoes first. Thanks everyone!
  • I've wondered that. I have more than one pair, and it happens in both. I'm wondering if i need a certain fitting or something?? Where would I go for something like that, if that's what it is?
  • It's the bottoms of my feet, the soles. The entire bottom gets sore. It does go away when I stop working out. It only happens during class, I usually walk home from the gym and even by then it's lots better. I notice it mostly in step, but have noticed it in other classes if there's a lot of jumping or lots of plyometric…
  • Well I just got back from the Boot Camp class and I have to say I loved it. Boy it was TOUGH though! I'll definitely go back. Thanks for the motivation :)
  • Thanks for all of the replies, I know I need to just jump out of my shell and try one, both cycle and boot camp are offered tomorrow so maybe I'll try boot camp first. That one scares me the most :)
  • I wondered that too - I've done RIPPED before, but today will be my first day doing Body Pump, so I'm not sure what to expect as far as soreness. I do lift some weights on my own, so I'm not new to weights, but I'm thinking I might walk away pretty sore. Good idea to ask someone at the gym!
  • I do have the results showing the numbers, and that it's elevated, I'll be sure to bring that to my nutritionist appointment.
  • Thanks, I've gone further today to request an appointment with a nutritionist to sort through this as well...which I have coming up on Monday. I'm actually looking forward to it!
  • Part of my problem here is I really have no clue what to set these %'s at? I'd like to get them figured out to start tracking. If my MFP goals are set by the 'guided' set up, based on what I'm plugging in for height/weight/exercise goals, it's giving me 215 carbs per day - I know that needs to be lower, but I'm not sure to…
  • Yes, my doctors has prescribed the low carb diet, as well as the exercise. He didn't explain why it was high, I think I'm hoping to get that information from the nutritionist I meet with next week.
  • I like the idea of doing this to be honest - seems a lot less complicated for me. And overall like I said I'm not trying to lose weight, I just need to be eating better and cut out the massive amount of carbs I have been eating up until now. Hopefully when I meet with the nutritionist they can give me some insight too on…
  • Thanks for your replies. Some of what you're saying is confusing to me because I'm so new to this, I've never tracked how much of something I'm eating. I think up until now I always had the false notion that because I'm not overweight it wasn't a problem so I never paid much attention. I have no clue how to figure out what…
  • Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it. I'm actually going to look into my options tomorrow too about seeing a nutritionist, wondering if that might be a good option to help me at this point.
  • Thanks for suggesting the low carb forums too..I'll check those out as well
  • Thanks. My doctor didn't give me a set number of carbs to aim for per day. Just said to start a low carb, low sugar diet and to start an exercise routine. I am not trying to lose weight, just reduce blood sugar. @stage14: My doctor also didn't suggest a specific structured low carb diet, and hasn't suggested cutting out…
