This. I HATE it when I save up calories for a cheat meal and it's disappointing. Immediately I'm thinking what was the point of being good for so long! (forgetting about feeling better, more energy etc.)
-
Unfortunately, for many that don't take care of themselves, it is.

Wow. This really hit me. I’m calling mum and dad today!

You might want to look up bradycardia heart rate.[/quote] My wife is an ER doc so all good. I’m actually very fit and have always maintained that despite weight going up and down.
-
My resting heart rate now frequently drops below 40 beats per minute at night. Lowest has been 38 beats. During the day at rest rarely goes above 55. Very happy that my body is getting fitter even if the number in the damn scales isn’t moving.

What’s a capsule wardrobe?

Ugh, colon cleanse. Worst night of my life by a long way. None of the stuff you mention will help with weight loss, except that it will reduce water, which will come back anyway. If however a clean colon is needed for personal reasons (not judging) then go ahead but even then I wouldn't mix them.

Just refuse it once. Then the next time you've already done it once, why not twice? Etc etc, this is how you build your willpower muscles.
-
Just a word of caution, maybe see a GP or something about it, a lipo clinic will not be the most objective source of information.

There's a view in these pics?? ;)

I do the same: 1 - Legs and Bi 2 - Chest and Tri 3 - Back and Bi 4 - Shoulders and Tri This is usually heavy weights, low reps. Then the Bi/Tri stuff is lower weight and high reps. I usually throw in a couple of core movements each day also. And if I get time/can be bothered: 5 - Run (5K) and heavy arms (my bro day) My…

I'd avoid the water if you have eye surgery. Unfortunately most exertion will be out as it increases blood pressure and thus pressure in the eyes. Still to a nice walk and enjoy a break!
-
No weight is permanent, otherwise people would not starve to death, it just feels that way. The measurements will drop, I would avoid anything drastic like Lipo which has a lot of issues.

I joined one and won. lost a lot of weight! Then did a DEXA scan and found it was mainly muscle and water, dehydrated and eating to little. All of it came back on, I assume as fat. This time I'm taking it slow, eating all my calories and focusing on whole foods (meat and veg). Weight is coming off slower but I'm…

Same here, I'm lactose intolerant and all the lactose free ones are terrible. I've tried pea protein and it's just not the same as the Whey ones.

You need to remember that any number on here is a guide. Recommended calories, burnt calories, food calories, they're all estimates. Raise or lower your daily amount of food based on the only thing that matters, you. If you're losing too much (over a few weeks so you know it's not just water moving) then up your calories…

I know it's the obvious answer but definitely a boob man. Female usually.

The small cans are only 100 cals or so anyway. Even at 1200 a day 10% should be discretionary, as in whatever the hell you want.
-
One meal a week I’ll eat whatever I want. Usually still log it (if I can figure it out)
-
This is kind of a NSV but mostly not. The last week I’ve been hovering around the same number and same measurements. It’s been getting me down and frustrated. But instead of drastically cutting calories and water like I normally would just to see a fake low number on the scales, I stuck to my calories and meal plan and…

Actually stuck to ‘one beer’ at a colleague’s going away drinks when I said I would. Also my wife is feeling a bit sick and wanted Chinese food. Stuck with prawn(shrimp) and vegetable stir fry. There was a time I would have smashed a couple of six packs and a huge meal. Willpower is like a muscle!

Giggity.

Pelvic floor PT has been booked! She went to one after the birth of our second but will go again and hopefully that will help. Thank you everyone!
-
Your body does burn more calories when you're cold. The amount is not really quantifiable though.

Nothing for me, get up get to gym and drink water through out. I'll go a BCAA and caffeine drink if I've been training consistently heavy for a while and I'm feeling tired. I get up at 4:15 and train at 5:10 so its more sleep that affects my performance.
-
Be careful just adding water as the cramps are usually related to low levels of required salts (not necessarily table salt so don't go smash the doritos!) so adding more water further reduces the apparent levels of salts. I get these when I over train and find that a banana can help. If it's chronic you can get powders for…

Thanks for that, I must have missed the email! Issue is the data has just been posted for sale on the dark web. So if you use the same passwords elsewhere they could use that to cross-hack. Changed password anyway just in case!
-
Sorry? It's Engadget, probably the bigget tech website in the world. Google Engadget yourself and the story is on the front page. MFP was hacked along with a bunch of other sites too.
-
Did anyone get an email or anything that there was a hack at MFP? If you use the same password here as elsewhere (which I'm sure a lot do) I would highly suggest changing it here and elsewhere too.
