I was a preschool teacher for 10 years. I now substitute for elementary and I am completing my Master's degree in special education.

Agree with this 100%!!

Those pulled pork sandwiches are awesome!

Feel free to add me! I will be 41 next month, have 3 kids, I have lost 18 lbs and have 64 or so to go.

It could be from infection or something more serious. As others have already advised, please call your doctor right away!

My husband is picky about veggies. He will eat salad. You can try broccoli with cheese sauce (you could leave the cheese sauce off for yourself), roasted carrots (mix baby carrots with olive oil, kosher salt, minced garlic and bake at 400 until carrots get soft), and mashed cauliflower.

I don't think it sounds like a good idea either!

I actually do this on purpose once ever 3-4 weeks. It seems like it keeps me from getting stuck. After my high calorie day I usually will weigh 1 -2 lbs more, but over the next several days I will loose that plus one or two more pounds. The important thing about a day like that is to make sure you go right back on track…

I hate Dominos pizza! I love Giovonnis, but stuff like that just isn't as good as it used to be.

This. It amazes me how people don't realize it is normal for your weight to fluctuate a lb or two from day to day. That's why I only weigh myself every few days.

I agree with those that say to find a new doctor. I went to the doctor 3 weeks after starting this new way of life, I had lost 8 lbs and my doctor was thrilled. She asked me what I had been doing and said that was great and to keep up the good work.

I really have never understood the popular belief that drinking is "fun". Why? Its expensive, you loose control of your actions, and you normally end up with a headache and puking. I suffer from migraines, so the headache aspect of drinking is what really turns me off. Why invite a headache? My father was an alcoholic and…

I eat Heiners 35 calorie hearty wheat.

My nails and hair are actually growing faster now that I eat healthier. I would be concerned if my hair is falling out. As the others have said it sounds like you are lacking in some vitamin/nutrient.

I haven't read all the responses, but the ones I have read are giving you good advice to wait. I think you are smart to wait. I had my first at 26, miscarriage at 29, second baby at 30 and third at 31. I think 26 is a good age, but in hindsight I wish I had waited another year. My husband and I had only been married less…

Anyone eating less than 1200 daily is asking for trouble. My mil ate 800 - 1000 calories a day for a year and now her kidneys are failing. You have to have enough calories to fuel you body's functions.

I would like to join too!
-
Huge difference! Keep up the great work!
-
Lookin' great! Good job!
-
Wow! I think that is a huge difference! I would say you have lost the most from your stomach, but I see a loss everywhere. Keep up the good work!
-
I will add you! I am 5'5", started at 227, currently at 211, looking to get to 135-145, so I have 60 some pounds to go.
-
If you weigh every day your weight is going to fluctuate by a couple pounds, its normal.
-
I think there is a huge difference! Your face even looks thinner. Great work!
-
If you are jogging and doing 30DS and only eating 1400 calories you may not be eating enough. You have to fuel your body or it will hold onto the fat.

That is sad. She definitely isn't too old. My mom is a smoker and I have talked to her for years about quitting. Her grandchildren have literally cried, begging her to quit. Not only do we worry about her health, but she stinks, her house stinks, and when we come from there we stink. Not to mention the waste of money, ugh.…

I have been on microgestin for almost 10 years and have never had any problems. Five years ago I lost 30 lbs, but put it back on. Currently I have lost 15 lbs in about 8 weeks.

Your son sounds like a wonderful boy. I have a sweet wonderful boy too, its great to have their support! Keep up the good work!

I think you can do it, just be careful to not injure yourself. I was 227 when I started it and the only previous exercise I had been doing was walking 1-2 miles per day. I ended up with shin splints (and they really hurt!). So, just take it slow at first.

I am a teacher too, but won't have much extra time this summer. I'm working on my Master's degree and have 4 classes this summer. I had gained 12lbs since starting my Master's, I'm a stress eater, if you can't tell, lol! But since I'm not working I am hoping I have more time to exercise.

I never really dated either. I think people thought I was weird, but I can really tell a lot about a person from the first meeting and I never met anyone that I was interested in. I was dating a guy my best friend set me up with (hating every minute of it, but doing it just to make her happy) when I met my (now) husband.…
