It worked for me. I lost about 30 lbs and have kept it off for a year by logging my food and keeping myself accountable. But if you can not commit to a new lifestyle it will not work. It is not magic it is just a way to guide you. good luck!

My advice would be to keep annoying him a little. Have that conversation with him and let him know you are worried about his health, then bug him at least once every couple days reminding him you want to get active ...with him. There are lots of Videos on youtube that you could follow. But if you are looking at Beachbody, the POWER 90 series is nice and fairly easy. I still use them frequently. Good to know and I agree. Fish oil according to many other studies is beneficial to your health. But I am making a choice based on new info to me to cut out the supplements and get the oils from fish in my diet.

I think you are shorting yourself by using that term, YOU buckled in and lost weight and stuck with it. Awesome job regardless of my opinion of that term. I just don't like giving credit to things that are unnecessary.

I think that anyone using the term "kickstart" is denying the truth and they know it. Truth is you can do it without meal replacement magic. The success story here, if any, is from the OP's deep rooted determination to lose weight.

Yeah I adjusted my goal weight just for a visual goal. When I started to convert to maintenance mode I changed my weekly loss plan from 1lbs to .5lbs per week, which upped my daily calories by about 175. I found it very easy this way but like others said it won't take any magic. For me it was easier than I expected.

I will offer the add, but I don't have any problems with people eating Mcdonalds or cake...as long as there is space left in the goal after. Bad food is good sometimes. staying committed to you goal is what matters.

Good luck to you all on this. But I think failure is just a paycheck away. It may work for you in the short term but keeping weight off will take a lifestyle change. (calorie deficit)
