Stretch after your body is warm. So yes stretching after you do your weights is the correct thing. It will pay off in the long run since our spend time in the weight room shortening the muscle...you need to lengthen out again. Also will help so your not sore the next day.

I get it on the pain thing. In the last 6 years I have had both hips replaced and my left ankle screwed down and oethascopies on both knees. I'm know I have to have both knees replaced. Right one is going to be replaced in October. Hopefully the second one in June of 2013. Then the ankle later that year. I'm bone on both…

Can you just do some light weight lifting on machines? Its not a perfect working, but at least you will feel good about being in the gym. And machines are made so you cant really hurt yourself, unless your weights are wrong

I read the message boards here see if there is anyone I can help. My husband travels so i spend some really lonely nights too. :( but I find that when I'm trying to help some one else, I stop thinking about myself.

Been there done that. My husband deployed to the dessert for longer than I want. But such is the life of a military spouse. You can friend me if you like.
