This^^ Sometimes the exercise can cause old symptoms to temporarily flare up, which is not the same as a relapse and steroids wont help that. Usually with me it is because I got overheated during exercise, so I drink lots of ice cold water and rest afterwards, if the symptoms are not gone within 24hrs, they may not be…

I'd like to be in please!

I have switched once from Copaxone to Rebif then from Rebif to Gilenya. No issues switching, the transition was fairly easy. Never used Tysabri. Good luck.

Hi All, feel free to add me as well. I have been on for 250 straight. Did well for the 1st 6 months then had medical and family issues add that to the holiday season and fell off the wagon. I am doing better and ready for a fresh start could use some more motivation for the new year :)

Add me if you like (anyone else feel free to add as well). I am online wayyyy too much and comment as much as possible. I've had a rough couple of months medically and personally and have fallen off the wagon. I am ready to start fresh and could use some new blood on my friends list to help re-motivate me. I love a good…

I started Gilenya in January 2012, so I am coming up on my 1yr anniversary. It was the best decision I ever made. For the 1st month I did get headaches and had an issue with upset stomach and gas. After that 1st month I have not had any other side effects. I have had no major relapses, I did have a new area of tingling…

I don't know anyone personally who has tried this, but it is in all the MS and Neurology magazines and literature. It looks like something I would try if I ever had an issue with foot drop again. http://www.walkaide.com/en-US/Pages/default.aspx

I had that issue when I was first diagnosed 10 yrs ago. Did IV Methylprednisone 3 days a month for 6 months along with physical therapy that and time helped and it eventually went away. I have some friends who have it, some wear an AFO braces and some just deal with it. I know a few people who take Ampyra for help walking…

Yes I have lost and gained the same 3 lbs for the last few months now. Started with emergency gallbladder surgery and couldn't work out for weeks, then just after getting back into it I got hit with Bronchitis and couldn't work out again for 2 weeks. Just got back to it then my mom had a stroke and I've been out of state…

I was only down 1.4 lbs for round 4, had many challenges in over the last 2 rounds and been discouraged and depressed over it. But I am ready to start fresh with round 5 :)

Kudos to you, you are an inspiration!

I'm right back where I started. After surgery in Sept and now bronchitis for Nov I've not really been able to get much exercise in for 2 months so I kept losing and gaining the same couple of lbs. But I seem to be stable and back on my way down now, just need to get through Thanksgiving.....ugh! Great job on your losses!

Can't say that I have ever had that happen to me, sorry

I take Tizanidine for the spacticity in my legs. Some days it is worse than others, after sitting still for awhile sometimes, but mostly when I am overtired or sick or overheated. Stretching exercise helps.

I managed to get on the scale this morning, I weighed myself mid-week and was up 2lbs, hence the hesitation to weigh yesterday. Anyways, I was down 1lb from my mid-week weigh in so that leaves me up 1lb. Could be worse as I binged on a lot of Halloween treats. Today starts a new week, and I have several incentives to be…
