No, I do not cheat...I eat what I like, that includes my healthy foods, some fired foods, and dessert. I like dessert after dinner, and it fits within my calorie count. I put it on my log too... I have to keep my cals up anyway, so I don't have to cheat.

Awesome! Sometimes the pictures have to prove our eyes wrong! :o)

I am middle of the road on this question. I am more for eating enough cals than eating exercise cals back. For me, this is why: An example, if I am to eat 2000 cals a day, but three days a week I burn 1500 cal/day, I would be eating 3500 cals on those three days which would be a difficult feat. Therefore, I'd rather add…

I saw the same documentary; it was most inspiring. I did one full week just to cleanse, and then a partial week. I did not plan to do the 40 days. I still drink raw juices and I juice monthly, but not to replace meals. I think juicing is a good thing, you just have to find what works for you. Best success to you!

I am sort of hating this as well; so I backed off lifting for a week-and a half and lost two pounds. I was going to pick up lifting again this week, but I do not know...

If you are still hungry, then your body is telling you that it doesn't have enough food. Like you, I have a desk job; I have very brief periods where I leave and walk around. While I keep popcorn, nuts, and seeds in my desk, I also bring at least three snack foods OR a snack meals to work. Example: Snack meals--I may…

My cal goal is between 2300 to 2500; many days I do not make it over 2000 cals! I struggle to get enough cals in. So when I REALLY work at reaching the high, I can be 25-50 cals off which I am pleased with; but when I am a 500-800 off PLUS I've burned like 1200-1500 that day, my body will hold on to weight (fat and…

Had my emergency surgery back in 1999... 1. 6 months; I was in pain for about a year. 2. I cannot eat lots of fried food in a weeks time; I stopped coating my chicken when I fry it. I am already lactose intolerant but began eating yogurt to help with upset stomach back then. 3. Since your doc says no dairy and low fat…

...in the beginning, I walked and did swimming...it is how I lost the first 15lbs relatively quickly. I stopped walking and am now going to add it back. I believe it is more of a significant benefit to my weight loss (journey) than I've given it.

Awesome and congrats! What a success...!

This I agree with. I have no hard and fast rules...but if I had to pick one, it would be "don't quit".

Fabulous!

...encouragement for many...

I am with you...! Past is in the past... A new day!

I love my Zumba class at the Y; I attend a class twice a week. It is easy to catch on, so being uncoordinated is not frowned upon. The instructor is VERY, VERY energetic but tells people to work at their own pace. It is a fun way to burn off some calories in an hour!

Congrats...and AWESOME!!

...it says on some containers, "sold by weight not volume" which leads me to believe the consumer is being fooled by the huge container. That container will never be "full". Just my two cents~

...a keeper...! Thanks for sharing...

Fabulous success!

...really study the numbers, cals in, burned cal, how many cals you are suppose to eat daily, and your BMR. It is all about the numbers, at least, this is what I am discovering. I have been in two VERY difficult plateaus where I was losing inches and no pounds...even being a water drinker and working out 6 days/week. I was…

Congrats to you...continued success!

Wonderful!!

I get up "late" according to some; I raise about 730 or 745a...I get to work at 9a. I set my workout to 4 times a week for 60 minutes after work, but I end up working out 6-7 times per week for 60 minutes. My new schedule for the next six weeks will be: Mon & Thurs: Zumba Wed: OFF Tues & Fri: Lifting and Deep Water Aerobic…

We have a scale in our room, I know his weight and he knows mine. I never kept that a secret...even told him when we first met. He is MUCH smaller than I am. To date, I have lost more that what he has gained (he gained 20lbs). I am losing and he NEEDS to gain! What a happy home...
