Dress sounds amazing. Do you know a competent tailor or seamstress? Depending on how the dress is constructed, you might be able to get a little bit more room.

Why is this a problem? If she says that she's vegan and you never see her eat, it's likely that she has an eating disorder. I have known a lot of anorexics who claim that they're vegan, celiac, allergic to every food under the sun. Maybe it's unfair, but it's my first assumption about anyone who I never see eat.

If you're in a place where you can get a toaster oven, I use a convection toaster oven to bake small things all the time. I got mine for $50. If I'm making a veggie patty or enough roasted veggie for just me, a toaster oven is perfect.

Good timing. I have some broccoli that needs cooking right now. Maybe I'll do this with it, then also make the squash that I have the same way and have a giant pile of veggies for dinner. I could do worse!

How much do you have to lose? It's simply not healthy to lose that much in a week unless you go on a very unhealthy diet unless your habits have been atrocious (like you weigh 300+ and it's the first few weeks of your diet)

I've been losing weight very slowly. I started at 225 at the beginning of 2007 and am now only down to 195. But I've kept all of it off, which is more than I an say for most dieters starting at my size.
