  • Have you really only lost 9 lbs like your ticker says? Wow! Your having great results with P90X
  • Thanks for the support everyone! I love MFP and how much more enjoyable it has made this journey.
  • I haven't noticed the food (but now I'll be looking ;)) But I've definitely noticed the smiles. I have seen that same transition in myself. I HATED the camera before, and now, although i can't say I love it, I definitely feel more confident in front of it. I don't hide or run away like I used to.
  • :) it is, but this pic is not a very fair comparison for that. :) The first is after an early morning TF workout (no makeup, no shower) and the 2nd is after I'd gotten ready for work. (make-up on)
  • thanks!
  • Thanks everyone! i just need to suck it up after my little pity party. I have just fallen in love turbo fire & already miss it. Walking is just so boring to me. I'll do it cause Im not about to give up. any exercise suggestions or positive recovery stories are greatly appreciated
  • I am also colder, but that made me laugh that it hurts to sit on hard chairs! :) You'll have to carry a pillow with you :) My NSV is that I am feeling better about having my picture taken. I was feeling sad that I had hardly any photos with my kids that I liked. Took 2 pics this weekend and like the way I looked!!
  • I did 55 ez this morning & worked up a major sweat! I have a body media arm band and find that if I work hard my average burn is about 10 cal/ minute. Is that comparable to what others are seeing with their hr monitors? I hope you are able to get your DVD replaced butterfly. I got mine from groupon too, so hopefully…
  • I was supposed to do Fire 55 ez this morning, but woke up late. Only had time for Fire 30, but I killed it. I used my weighted gloves for the whole thing so got a little extra work out in. If you would have told me 5 months ago that I would be mad at myself for oversleeping and not getting my full work out in I would have…
  • This is me too! I was lucky enough to come across someone selling Chalene Extreme for $40 (barely used) online. I purchased it and plan to purchase some adjustable weights sometime in May. We also have no room for weights in our tiny house. Hopefully I run across a smoking deal on weights before I begin Chalene EXT. My…
  • Today is my rest day and I really don't like it. I have never been a regular exerciser, but after completing the 9 week prep schedule and now half way through week 4 of the regular schedule I really miss TF on my rest days. My body needs it and I know that, but I just feel more sluggish on those rest days. Tomorrow is a…
  • The groupon deal I got was in October. I haven't seen it again but maybe it will come back around.
  • I tried wearing shoes during TF & had a lot of pain in my shins and ankles. I now do everything barefoot and have no issues. I work out in my living room on carpet so I'm getting some cushion from that. Hopefully I don't regret the lack of support later.
  • Thanks for the encouragement everyone! It is so great to be able to share these successes with others who are on the same path. Turbo Fire is a great program!
  • I'm still trying to figure that out. Hopefully reading through other's posts will help me out. I haven't been healthy for at least 15+ years, and honestly can't tell you what I weighed in high school or college or if that would even be healthy for me now. I've never been skinny. I think I have more of an athletic build- a…
  • BTW, what's the prep schedule? I wonder if this was missing in my package because I got it through Groupon. There was supposed to be a Firestarter class, which I did not have. I got mine through groupon too. The prep schedule was in my book along with the regular schedule. It's a 9 week schedule to get you ready for all…
  • I have been doing the Turbo Fire prep schedule for 7.5 weeks and will move onto the normal schedule in a couple weeks. I am absolutely loving it! My advice would be to do the prep schedule if you have not been particularly active up to this point. It is by no means easy and I'm seeing some great results. I'm down 14+…
