  • I get one of these probably once a week. Skip the cheese and you save yourself another 100 calories! I seriously don't even notice the cheese is missing :) Bulk it up with some sprouts, nix the mayo, maybe add a little dijon. Yum! Mine are always right around 200 calories.
  • I pre-chop my celery and it lasts for a good 2 days at least (in baggies). Carrots, peppers, and broccoli keep for a day or two also. The only thing I always prep the 'morning of' are cucumbers. They tend to get watery/nasty if you do them the night before.
  • Good point!
  • Very true! I need to keep a positive attitude, because I do feel great about the choices I make and am feeling a lot healthier as a whole. As long as the numbers on the scale keep getting smaller, I guess I should stop complaining ;) Thanks for the tips.
  • No - I wish I had though! I think I skipped the measurement part at the beginning because I just didn't want to know what they were lol. The number on the scale alone was hard to wrap my head around. Thanks for the encouragement, and congrats on your accomplishments so far!
  • Definitely! Everything gets logged!
  • I cook my quinoa in chicken stock/broth and it comes out really great. I will warn you that it can be deceiving-looking, portion-wise. 1/4 cup of dry quinoa is a perfect single serving. I typically serve roasted veggies over mine. Hope you try and enjoy!
