That's also a good point. I dated jerks until I met my husband. Of course he's the first guy I met with confidence. I also struggled with self-esteem issues before I met him as well, which probably contributed to me dating the jerks.

I know how you feel. The hourglass shape is awesome when you're skinny, but a pain when you're overweight. I can't even wear shapewear or spanx because all it does is bunch at the narrow part of my waist.
-
Exactly.
-
True, but I've never seen a girl say guys only go for *****es.
-
And if you're wondering why I'm posting this here, it's because it's something I've been wanting to say for a long time. I've heard it all my life from my brother and several guy friends I've had. I'm posting it here because I'm not a blogger and the only other forum I'm a member of is for women only, so there it would…

You can also add a little bit of almond milk to make it creamier.

I'm 5'6 and at a healthy and VERY fit weight, I was 145. I did get down to 125 at one point, but I looked anorexic.
-
Did it work?
-
I'm 5'6 and 172 currently. My ultimate goal is to hit 135lbs. The way I'm built I look anorexic if I go below 130. Big bones and all that. Lol. You can hit your goal. Like a previous poster said, try the 30 day shred.

I don't go to the gym anymore, but when I did, I was the type who had sweat stains running down my armpits, chest and back. My hair was haphazardly stuck in a ponytail and was usually sticking out everywhere. I never paid attention to the other women there because I was so focused on my workouts. I do think it's silly to…

I believe there is another verse where Jesus said the Mosiac Laws are no longer valid and only things Jesus himself has said are law. I could be wrong. My attempts at reading the Bible haven't gone very well. I have a hard time getting through all the "begats" in Genesis.

Really? So my totally secular, legally binding contract that's labeled "marriage license" is null and void because neither my husband nor myself is religious? You may want to call the federal government and let them know that they're giving me tax cuts I shouldn't have.

I didn't even know there was a search button. And I don't like google. However, I already knew about the HCG diet.

Yes, "The Five Love Languages"

Disclaimer: I'm not trying to be a *****, but this is a hot-button topic for me. I completely disagree with denying people rights such as marriage. Anyway, if you don't have problems with single parents, why would you have problems with a child having two dads or two moms? There are pleny of ways for children to have…

If you were upfront about it, I don't see his issue. It's not like you told him you were going to cook and then didn't. That said, I keep trying to get my husband to cook at least for our 2-1/2 year old son. Half the time I'm not even home before 8 and our son is so used to eating that late that I can't get him to eat…

I don't see anything wrong with polygamy as long as all parties are consenting adults. Did your friend have problems with single parents? Do you?
-
I wish I could *like* this.

I'm all about everyone being entitled to their own opinions, but it's when those opinions interfere with the rights of others that I can't stand. I mean, really, HOW will gay marriage affect you in any way, shape or form? Really...
-
Children can't consent. If they're of legal age and they are, in fact consenting, I don't see the issue with polygamy.
-
YES! Thank you for posting this! I was just looking for it, but I think I deleted the email...

You can see my tattoo (well, one of them) in my avatar :) I have a total of five.

Just like gays should be allowed to marry, a church or pastor/priest shouldn't be forced to marry anyone. A lot of Catholic priests refuse to marry straight coupled because they don't think the marriage will last.

This reminded me of a conversation I had with a Christian once. I told her I was a Diest and my husband was an athiest. She told me I wasn't married because I'm not religious. I told her to tell that to the federal government because I keep getting tax cuts I shouldn't have. I agree with you in regards to people hiding…

Maybe I should've said "trailer trash". This is coming from a girl who just moved out of a trailer in October. :)

I agree, but I'm trying to help things in my state (South Dakota) change so that gay marriage will one day be legal here. I realize that this will be one of the last states to legalize gay marriage and will probably only legalize it while being dragged by their ears by good ol' Uncle Sam, but that won't stop me from trying…
-
I agree with this completely. Why can single parents raise children just fine, but gay couples can't. There are many ways to provide strong role models of both sexes regardless of parents.
-
Then your state would be an exclusion to my example. And a marriage license is fancy if you can't get one like in most states, including mine. Also, if a married gay couple came to my state and one got sick, the other would have no say in their care because it's illegal here.
-
I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Are you for or against gay marriage? It sounds like you're against it. The government should have a say in it because they have a say in straight marriage. There are over 400 rights a married couple has that an unmarried couple doesn't. For example: If my husband is in a coma…
