Well let's see.... I fractured my right forearm/elbow and had to have two surgeries. I tore my rotator cuff. I broke my left clavicle. I shattered my left tibial plateau and broke the end of my femur off and was non weight-bearing for 5 months. So yeah. I have been hurt more than my fair share over 40 years :) sorry that…

It is working great for me. I lost about 50 pounds (gained 10 back over 6 months) the traditional way on here, but was stuck with about 45 to go. I could not break through and I was becoming undisciplined. Well Medifast has given me the discipline and I have broke through my plateau and am now the lightest I have been in…

Thanks for your thoughts. I am 42 and have been working hard on an elliptical for over 18 months. I can get my heart to a sustained 75% (145 bpm) for a good portion of that time. I have cut back to only a 30 minutes program every other day and typically can burn 400 calories in 30 minutes. Cycle type training would only be…

I feel this is so dependent on personality/. I drank diet coke when I was thin, I drank diet coke when I was fat, I drank it when I shattered my leg, I drank it when I finally decided to shed my weight. If you log everything and are disciplined, this doesn't matter. Stick to your goal and plan.

I view it all in the long haul. I have been at this for a little over 5 months. I expect to get to my goal weight by the end of the year. I know that my weight loss will slow as I get closer. The heavier you are, the less eating back calories matters. I use the exercise calories as my way to keep my motivation up if I am…

Yawning is sometimes just a reaction to your environment. I would always have a fit of yawning before I would army jumps. It was always in the plane already standing up and hooked up to the static line. Definitely not a time that I felt sleepy

A couple of thoughts- do away with the pasta and use a decent substitute like spagetti squash. Also, plan on eating a salad for one of your meals per day. Avoid the sweets. I have been able to consistantly stay around 1300 calories and I travel alot for work. Pay attention to the caloric values at restaurants. Staying…

I agree. I have been using it every day for the past week and it is amazing to think of how many calories I would consume on a given day. Keeping it low is a lot easier with this.
