Lol well that isn't the case for me. Apart from yesterday, I have stayed within my calorie goal, weighing and tracking absolutely everything. A couple of days, I have actually been under my goal. I have been making every effort to lose weight, and my choice of words doesn't mean anything.

I have a measuring tape, I took my measurements today after weighing myself and there has been no change.

Thanks guys, I know I shouldn't get disheartened but it's hard not to. I weighed myself about a week and a half ago, and I was 150lbs. I have been eating pretty well, trying to stay under my calorie goal, which I have managed to do apart from last night. I will weigh myself again in a week from now and take measurements…

I will definitely be eating light before hand. I will probably not log anything because I am rubbish at guessing/eyeballing so i would just rather not and start fresh the next day.

Thanks for all your input, i really appreciate it :flowerforyou: I think I will eat very lightly before dinner, and then maybe a workout after (if i can after all the yummy roast dinner!)

This made me LOL :laugh: :laugh: I totally get all of your points, and I will not be taking my scales with me to my mums. I'm completely happy having a meal off from logging ect, and yeah, a roast isn't the worst dinner in the world so thanks everyone for your input :D

Thanks for the information, you're a star :flowerforyou: I'm finding it hard with the hummus and guacamole, so I tried googling "calories in guacamole" however nothing has come up with USDA. I am in the UK, could that be the reason? If so, could I just go off another sites information?

I've tried to do that, but for example with the salmon, i only have a choice of 1g or 100g? With the lettuce I only have a choice of 1 cup or 2 cups :/

I just can't wait for them to turn up! :laugh: I've written myself a food list, and I'm going shopping tonight. I feel really positive now! :D This may seem like a silly question, but as for foods like mayo, butter, salad dressings ... do i just spoon it out and pop it onto the scales??

I have just spent the last couple of hours searching through forum posts and i have worked out my BMR, TDEE, and Deficit. I have also changed my goals in my MFP to the numbers i worked out, hopefully this will help me.

awesome, well done! :happy: I've just successfully worked out my BMR, TDEE and how many calories per day i will need to create a deficit. Next step will be buying some scales and hopefully i will be on the road to losing these last few stubborn pounds!!!

Yeah, i completely get that. I don't really have much weight to lose, i think for me it is more "vanity pounds" that i would like to lose. Maybe 10-14 lbs. I am going to purchase a scale, and hopefully soon i will start seeing some results. I think the first thing i need to do here will be calculating my TDEE.

That's exactly what is happening, i am not gaining, but not losing either! I have only just started logging yesterday, but no i do not weigh my food; something i know i am probably going to have to start soon. It's just very strange because a normal day for me could be this: skip morning breakfast chicken salad sandwich…
