  • I'm 25, almost 26, married with a son, i've lost 21 lbs so far, looking to lose about 40 lbs. more. Feel free to add me!
  • You don't stand up and talk about yourself at WW--unless you want to share something. I lost a lot of weight both on MFP and at WW. They both work well. It's all a matter of preference. What I like about WW is that every week I heard about a new healthy food that someone else had tried, not necessarily WW brand. It kept…
  • I'm a mom of one. But I've yo-yoed my whole life. I'm trying to drop the weight after baby --he's almost 15mo now, but keep sabatoging myself as well! Looking forward to seeing you around!
  • That's probably good. BF usually burns an extra 500 a day. :)
  • Great job! Five lbs is AMAZING! Keep up the great work!
  • It might just be the drying up, or your hormones changing. You'd be suprised how much those puppies weigh when they are full. And god knows that women are all hormones, and that they can make or break our weightloss. So you might have hit some magic hormone formula! :) Either way, congrats on losing!
  • I wear Nike shox for my Turbo workouts. That's what Chalene is wearing too. But they aren't really good at stabilizing the ankle. So if you have loose ankles, be careful. You might just try orthodics. You can get "custom" ones from Dr. Scholl's now at this little kiosky thing.
  • Awesome! I used to play. Still do recreationally. But I'm done for the season. MI winters don't allow for outdoor tennis, and I don't belong to a club. :( Glad you had fun!
  • There is a specific calculation for Female HR so that may be what designates it a female. I actually just tweeted about this the other day It is: New woman specific formula for finding max heart rate: 206-(your age x .88) Then that # x .65 for lower range and # x .85 for upper limit. Hope it helps!
  • Oooo this is a hard one. Stay away from the complimentry chips and salsa. Trade beans for rice, unless you can get whole black beans that haven't be re-fried. If you can get anything that hasn't been deep fried that is better, so a soft taco instead of a hard taco...and watch your portions. So I would have 1 chicken soft…
  • I'm shooting for 96oz today. And it's my rest day from TurboFire, so I'm going to take the lil peanut for a walk. :)
  • Sometimes it's best to just give in to a craving and have JUST A LITTLE! That way you are calming the craving. I know that if I'm having a craving for something, if I don't satisfy it, I will eat EVERYTHING else to try and stop craving the one thing I really want. Let's face it, you aren't going to be "dieting" forever, so…
  • You live in MN right? So winter is fast approaching....I would say try and take up new hobbies. Mainly indoor sports, go bowling, go to an indoor driving range or batting cages, maybe find some indoor tennis courts. Or even walk the mall. There's lots of stuff you can do to keep moving! Hope this helps!
  • As a kids librarian and fitness fanatic, I must say that is fabulous!
  • I am an ex-smoker. I just made the decision. And that was that. Have it in your heart, and do it. You're going to have to want it bad enough to do it cold turkey. If you can't do it for yourself, then do it for someone else.
  • I would stick with 1000. Particularly if you ate a lot of veggie based stuff. The sauce is where all of the cals would be coming from. Just eat a salad or something for dinner and stay on top of it the rest of the week. Sometimes a little indulgence actually revs your metabolism. :)
  • I would say when your weight has stayed constant for more that two weeks despite diet and exercise. Plateaus come in all sizes, some are short others are longer. The best way to bust one is to switch up your routine. What are you currently doing for exercise?
  • Hummm.....how is your salt intake? If you are eating too much sodium, you could be retaining water. Sometimes the salt is "hidden" so be careful. Also, your weight will fluctuate day to day naturally. You should weigh yourself one a week on the same day at the same time. That will give you a better gauge on what you've…
  • I measure--specifically because my weightloss program requests it of me. (I do TurboFire). So every 4 weeks I check in with measurements. It also helps because weeks when you dont loose you can still see a loss in inches.
  • I used to be the "party girl". At first I just downgraded to "light" beverages. And then my boyfriend (now my husband) told me that I might have a problem. And that was it. No more drinking for me. But just like anything, if you are used to doing something, it's better to have a little than none at all. I have one maybe…
  • I would start with ice to take care of inflammation. Then feel it out through the day tomorrow. If it doesn't start feeling at least a little bit better tomorrow, you may have done some damage and require a doc's appointment. :\
  • You can do it! I know it's cliche, but you can do anything you set your mind to! So acknowledge your fallback this week, accept it, know that you can do better, and hop back on the wagon! I'm here for ya gurl! :)
  • WOW! That's so awesome! Congrats!
  • Congrats!!! That's how I measure my weight loss. How defined are my collar bones.... :)
  • Let me know how you like it. I'm on the fence about ordering.
  • I'm relatively new as well. I think people are starting groups of thier own and just collecting friends with the same interests. I'll be more than happy to help coach you in your weightloss and I'm learning through my own!
  • I've heard of it, but don't know anyone that currently uses it, I've seen the testimonials though. I personally prefer Shakeology, and I and several people I know have gotten great results. Depending on the BodybyVi package, it's cheaper. I also don't know what's in the BodyByVi shakes, but I know what's in Shakeology.…
  • Sometimes even though we think we are eating enough we really aren't. So you might really want to check up on your calories. Just because you weigh less now, doesn't mean the muscle you built isn't consuming even more calories. You might try a different kind of switch up though, I know of something that can really help…
  • agreed. pick one and stick to it. :)
  • I found this online: @ big bust support What to Look For Don't buy one that you have to pull on over your head. For one, they're embarrassing to put on and second they will not offer you good support. If it's stretchy enough to pull on over your head then it's definitely not tight enough to hold you tight. Look for a one…
