I was in the same place. Even when I though I was eating "right", I was still consuming way too many calories. This site has made all the difference! I love the microbrews too, and like most on here I have drastically cut down my alcohol consumption in the name of weight loss! However, I do have a Grey Goose / Club soda with lime every now and then...65 calories!

Maybe try Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer series. He uses some of the same principals as P90X, but separated into 10 minute sessions. You can stack them together and do 3 or 4 at a time, or just do one - whatever works for you. If you can master that first, then maybe you can tackle P90X!!! Good Luck!

While tea and coffee are mostly water, caffeine is also a diuretic, so you have to drink more water to stay hydrated.

I have a Polar FT too - love it! My gym gave it to me when I signed up for Personal Training, but I think they're around $150.00. Totally worth it, as I know when I am in the my target HR zone.

I use 1- Peppridge Farm Deli flat (1 bun = 100 calories) to make 2 "mini" pizzas. About a tbsp of sauce on each, 1 slice of canadian bacon on each (35 calories per slice), and 1/8c of 2% shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake at 375 for about 8 min. VERY YUMMY and filling.

Not a big Greek salad fan, but olive oil doesn't scare me. It's a "good" fat, which your body needs, so I just have it in moderation. I would maybe cut it in half so you get the benefits, but only half the calories.
