Last night I felt like lasagna - I usually use ground beef and italian sausage but this time I used ground turkey and spinach and it was sooooo good. And it was only 327 calories per serving.
10oz Lean Ground Turkey
1pkg Spinach - Frozen, chopped or leaf, cooked, boiled, drained, without salt
3 cups Robusto Ragu Chopped Tomato, Olive Oli & Garlic Pasta Sauce
2-3 oz Ronzoni Healthy Harvest - Whole Wheat Blend Lasagna Noodle
1 cup Onions
2tsp Garlic minced
2 cups Lucerne - Italian Four Cheese Blend, Finely Shredded
I browned the ground turkey with the onions an the garlic - i only used garlic powder and pepper to season it. Boil the pasta in unsalted water. Boil and drain the spinach. Combine the meat and the spinach. Add 2 1/2 cups of the spaghetti sauce to the meat/spinach mixture. Let simmer until bubbling. Once the pasta is al dente, layer in a dish (i used an 8x8 dish) - pasta, cheese, meat/spinach mixture, cheese - repeat until dish is full (pasta should be the last layer). I top the lasagna with the last half a cup of sauce and the rest of the cheese and bake it on 350 degrees until the cheese was melted. It was DELICIOUS!
