Brand new and need help!

I just joined. I've lost 63 lbs but I need to lose 120 lbs more and I'm stuck. Any suggestions about diet? suppliments? When I was losing I was eating mostly chicken and veggies and walking 3 times per week but now that's not working.

  • You should try changing up your diet and exercise. Your body gets used to it and stops losing weight. I have noticed that whenever I feel like I'm stuck, just changing something a little bit helps. You could try adding a little jogging to your walk. You would probably notice a difference even jogging just a couple of minutes each time.
  • Welcome! I would say that from everything I've read, the best way to get the needle moving again is by changing up your exercise. If you have been just walking (cardio), then definitely add some resistence training (weights, bands, etc.). Besides the fact that muscles burn more calories, it also helps slow bone loss, which is a biggie! I would try adding 3 - 20 minute weight sessions per week and see what happens over the next few weeks. As you get stronger, add more weight or go longer.
