I biked 17.22 miles today...and didn't die.

I've lost over 70lbs and have never reset my goals. I figure I'm not fixing something that's not broken. If you plateau, then look at it.

I get this, too. I generally try to assume good intent, but I have a good 25lbs to go to get to a healthy BMI (I've lost almost 80). I just tell them that my primary care provider and I have discussed my goals, and we're both comfortable with it.

I echo the C25K advice, but also want you to know that it's OK to repeat weeks until you're ready to move to the next. And go SLOOOOOOOOWLY. I think turtles have passed me. I'm okay with it.

This holds a LOT of truth!

That's awesome!

I've not been posting here, as I've been struggling staying on track lately. SW: 281.2 CW: 203.8 GW: 175-180? I'm SO FRIGGEN CLOSE to ONEderland. Why am I sabotaging myself!? I haven't been in the ONEs in ANY time that I can remember in my adult life (I'm 38). I've been continuing to exercise, but have to get my food back…

I went off BP meds. I was experiencing orthostatic hypotension when I was on it after losing weight (BP dropping when I went from lying to standing). Took my BP for several days and it was normal-low. Called my PCP, and he advised going to half a dose for a couple of weeks. It got better. After more weight loss, it was…

I had a tubal ligation with endometrial ablation a few years ago. I went back to work the next day (I'm a nurse), but am not sure I could have exercised? I lifted people...

I see so many people buying all sorts of special stuff for keto, and you don't need it. Keep it simple. For most meals, I eat veggies and a protein with some fat. A hamburger served on a bed of lettuce, chicken (with skin) served with grilled zucchini, etc. Look at the list of low carb veggies, and the recommended meats…

I have no idea based on your picture. 30?

I was born in Northern NY, but have called Southern Quebec home for the past 15 years. I live about an hour south of Montreal! I started with about 100-105lbs to lose. I'm down over 75 now.

I started this year with over 100 to lose. I've lost 76. It's getting slower and harder. My diary is open to friends. Feel free to friend me.

That's amazing! Congratulations!

I use heavy cream and an unsweetened flavor syrup.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I'm ALREADY hearing "you're going to be too skinny." Yeah...I have a good 30lbs to lose before I hit a "normal" BMI. Then I hear "but you have a large frame!" No, I don't. It's normal sized. I've seen it on x-ray. I just let it roll. I think MOST people actually mean well, but I know my…

I totally do it from time to time. They say this almost every day! They mean well, but they're killing me!

Love this. You look great!

My friends/coworkers will tell me in one moment how well I'm doing, and in the next tell me that I need to "splurge now and again." If I splurged half as often as they told me to, I'd be back where I was. I'm going to just keep on going, and save the splurges for when I REALLY need/want them.

I'm in a rut of gaining and losing the same 2 lbs over and over and over. I know this will pass, and I'm working on tightening up my logging, but DAMN, it's frustrating.

Chicken power bowl. I get it with no rice and no beans.

I had a hip replacement 3 years ago (at 35) related to a congenital issue. I'm so glad to get the weight off to help this joint last as LONG as possible.
