In med school now, was recently taught information from these very articles. Low carb can help improve lipid profiles and increase overall fat loss compared to low fat diets. But personally I lost 70lbs eating tons of granola bars and meat, I never worried about the fat intake. Maybe if I had it would have been faster?

Like others have said, eat back your exercise calories for sure. Also the more fit you are the less fat you burn and the more carbs. Because of that I make sure to eat my carbs for the day before my workouts and almost no carbs afterwards.

Hahahaha, you crack me up. I don't count stretching, just aerobic exercise. Ideally I only count things that put my heart in the fat burning zone.

I don't mind my chest hair, I just prefer being able to see the muscle definition better. Although there is maybe a 10-15 lb difference in these pics, I think I know which one ladies would prefer.

I do the same thing but with no oil. Once it is done popping I spray some non stick cooking spray and add a little salt. Probably the lowest calorie, non-artificially sweetened, filling, snack possible.

The reason it isn't in MFP already is probably because cardio is fairly easy to estimate based on height and weight but weight training has wide variations based on fitness level. The only real option is to get a very good HRM and create the exercise yourself.
