I'm in the nasty habit of not stretching, at all for any workout. Mainly lack of knowledge. Can anyone tell me any good beginning stretches and how long do you stretch for?

In track we would stretch out our legs doing toe touches, high knees, butt kickers, butterflies etc. Stretching out our arms we do across the chest, behind the back and arm circles. In all it lasted about 15 mins and you were pretty warmed up by then.0

I wouldn't call it a nasty habit
Stretching actually can cause your muscles to be weaker so I don't do it very often. After my workout then yes, I'll loosen em up a bit. It's one of those topics that some people swear by it and others just don't it
