  • That's when I workout. I also sleep very well and end up having lots of energy in the morning. I guess it just depends on the person. Find what works for you and stick with that.
  • WOW!!! Absolutely amazing. You left behind a whole person. That's awesome. I keep trying to get my friends to join. This really works.
  • I was looking at the Nutribullet. It's suppose to pulverize everything so you get ALL the nutrients and stuff. 100 bucks at Walmart.com.
  • I'm also serious about losing weight. I've even come to the point where I LOVE working out. Add me if you'd like. I LOVE motivating people because I have had my struggles but know I will reach my goal. If I can help someone or more along the way, even better.
  • NO EXPERT as well, but from experience I was NOT losing when I was eating certain foods I thought were good for me. I had to stop and reevaluate what I was eating. I stopped eating OATMEAL and that made a difference. My husband works out, weight lifting and all, and does the protein shakes. I think that puts on weight due…
  • A BIKINI so I can get a better tan and not have funky tan lines like this I got this summer.
  • We've been going out of town a lot recently therefore eating at lots of restaurants. They do have wonderful "low cal" or "fit" menus. Try and stick with them. Try to stay away from fast food. My fave is BJ's. They have the BEST low cal dishes. Good luck. You can do it!!!
  • Because of my work schedule, I workout after I eat. I'll eat dinner as soon as I get home, wait about an hour then do my workout. That works best for me because I figure I'm fueling up for my workout and I'm burning it all off.
  • I love my water. Because I am a water drinker I'm picky with the water restaurants provide. So I splurge and have a diet coke when we are out to dinner. I keep in mind that it has 0 calories but is still bad for you overall. All soda is. I keep to my calorie intake and exercise all the time. So, it doesn't make me gain any…
  • I agree with getting a bike and riding that. If you CAN walk, I suggest Leslie Sansone's walking DVD's. They are wonderful. They've helped me to build up my stamina and I am now back on the treadmill.
  • Wow, you look amazing. We're the same age and started gaining at the same time. You are an inspiration. Congratulations!!!
  • Thanks everyone. Your suggestions help a lot. I have been worried about lbs because I am heavier than most people my size. I am very solid therefore I am not worried about the saggy skin. Lol. That's one thing I've never had. I will continue my journey. And I will try different things. I have added weights to my workout.…
  • Always count the calories and don't forget to factor in all the walking you will be doing. I've been going out a lot lately due to summer vacation (want my son to have fun). But, I've been staying on track. At dinner just make sure you have very small portions. I'm sure you'll be fine.
