  • Can you perhaps make one more team so rest of us can join too. Having more teams/people won't hurt right.
  • I'd like to join this
  • Amazing. But you didn't write your before/after weight or height.
  • That happened to me in both my pregnancies. I fainted and fell on the floor. My advice to you is to eat good and eat lots of protein. Baby needs it and you need it to stay healthy. Take your prenatal vitamins on time too.
  • Starting weight 155 Height 5'4 Weight at 36 weeks 168 My goal was to not gain anymore then 10 lbs but it looks like I'll end up being 15 lbs more at the end of my pregnancy. Hoping this baby is also 38 weeks like my first born.
  • I've gained about 10 lbs and I am 33 wks 4 days. This whole thing about weight gain is pretty useless. We all gain weight differently. Obviously we want to make sure we don't end up gaining too much to have complications but only so much is in our hand, rest our bodies decide. I don't worry about not gaining much weight.…
  • hbarnstein, I also started at 155-156 and so far I am also 33 weeks pregnant. My due date is 8 Oct. I come here to stalk you.. lollllll... Because our stats are similar I compare my gain with yours. Today, I just wanted to post to let you know that you inspire me. Your dedication to workouts and eating healthier means a…
  • I am 23 weeks now and man it hurts to run. I have slowed down, less work outs now. But like the belly feels so heavy when running. Lots of pressure. Do you guys feel the same?
  • My suggestion is not work out if you think your body is exhausted. It does get better. In first trimester, I was always sleepy and seriously lacked energy. I couldn't go to the gym that often. I didn't worry too much about it. Do what you can do. Don't push yourself too hard. Watch your diet. Eat healty, go for walks and…
  • Thanks for replying girls. You guys are a lot faster then I am.. lol. I shouldn't be worried then. I can try to do 3 miles per workout session.. takes me about 45-50 mins.. so I should be fine. Also, embarassing thing but with every step, I have an urge to pee.. lol. Is it safe to use panty liners??
  • Question ladies.. how intense are your workouts/runs?? I would like to know this since I am not sure if I am running a lot faster then I should be. I would like to know your miles per minutes and your average speed. I don't want to give up running but I am concerned.
  • I don't run as often now but maybe 2-3 times a week on treadmill. I take it easy though. No overheating and running out of breath. I would ask runner mommies about maternity belt that comfortable. I am desperately looking for one to hold my belly in place.
  • I hear ya. I am in the same boat. I am getting sick of calorie counting when I am not even losing weight.. like what's the point??! And if I don't do it, I'll lose the habit of doing it, after delivery this wouldn't do me any good. I think the best thing is do continue to do it so you still have the habit and are able to…
  • My doctor is very nice too about gains and weight loss. At my last appointment he said that he expected some gain and I've actually lost. He said he would like to see some gain in the next appointment. He was joking about my workout with my husband. He also said that the fact that I keep an eye on my gain and my health…
  • Invest in good running shoes. I can't stress on this enough. I was running in some nice expensive NIKE that were horrible horrible. It killed my toe nail for good. I wish I could post a picture. My toe nail is just dead.. blueish and refuses to repair. Its ugly and I am embarassed to shoe my feet now. Those Nikes weren't…
  • As far as I know Dr. Oz is a practicing doctor. My husband went to his office once. And no not every doctor is a certified nutritionist. That's the biggest misconception I've read here. Just because you are a Cardiologist doesn't mean you can give the best advice regarding food. It does not work like that. You specialize…
  • Congrats on your weight loss. But what I really want to know is what you ate and the recipes. Your food sounds soooooooo good and if you were able to lose weight eating what you ate (I am sure you made healthy bbq), I would love to know some recipes. Maybe post them in your blog. I got stuck at "my wife is a good cook"
  • Me Username BaysiderNY CW 157 lbs Total pounds want to lose 15 March 31 145 April 140 May :)
  • I don't have those 1000 days too often. And when I do have it, not like I am intentionally doing it... it wide be chicken or veggies for dinner and tuna sandwich for lunch.. I don't worry about losing weight. Even if I don't for a month I am okay because I know I am doing all the right things. It's gaining weight I am…
  • Really? Becuase I was always coming to 1000 calories if I was restricting my food intake. I read about upping calories. I did. I don't eat sweets at all. Because I don't like how it taste, however I do eat well. Lots of veggies, moderate carbs, proteins. I don't think my food is a problem to be honest.
  • I am having the same issue too. I've been eating really well and sticking to my 1200 calories.I also eat low cal food because that's what I prefer. I don't eat any desserts at all. Just don't like it. And been exercising 5 days a week. I am drench sweat some days.. but the scale seems to not move. Not just scale, I am also…
  • I have about 10 lbs to lose to be in a normal bmi range. I am 5'4 and 156. Will be trying for my second baby. I did open a thread similar to this one few days ago. I can never seem to lose these last 10 lbs from my first born. I am just going to try for another one with this extra weight :( and try to stay healthy during…
  • I wish it was that easy. I've been telling myself I need to lose the weight ever since my baby is born but that just never happens and it keeps delaying everything. My career. I want to have another baby, get my masters, job... and the rest. But it never seems to happen and I am at a point where I gave myself a deadline..…
  • Thanks for the replies ladies. I am also hoping to lose some weight in the first trimester by watching my diet and exercising. I didn't get too sick when I was pregnant with my first baby. As soon as we are motivated to lose weight, another baby happens :)
  • I LOVE this thread. But I have no clue about weight lifting. I use machine weights.. is that just as effective?? I find it easier to use and I can use it without any guidance. I wouldn't have a clue about free weights. I love every single before and after here and I am in process of losing weight. I enjoy working out and…
  • Thanks for replying. My toddler wouldn't sit in the stroller so yes I can go out with him for a walk but then I'd be walking at 0miles/hr which won't help me much. I will try this though anyway to see if he is okay with sitting while I go for a walk.. power walk. I live in a beautiful neighborhood by the sea. There is a 3…
  • These hives can totally have their own thread. I suffer from it too. Everyday. Some days it gets so bad that I take steroids and always have Epipen with me. Doctors can't figure out what's causing it. You look amazing. Life with hives isn't easy. I get them when I workout and sweat. I still keep going.
  • Thanks for replying. I was also wondering if weight training would actually make me lose weight?? I know cardio will but will weight training? I don't mind doing both cardio and weight all 5 days. I enjoy it and it pushes me to do more, harder. I am saying 5 but sometimes its not even that. If I find no one to take care of…
  • Ok I've kinda misunderstood this. I thought it was 5 miles, not km:laugh: I've been running 3 miles everyday and I wanted to try this to see if I could run 5 miles.. lol. I was pushing myself hard to run 5 miles under 60 mins.
  • Did my first day today. Feel good. I am also doing 30DS.
