  • Just hang in there and keep your head up. I say follow your dreams, because if you don't have any what's the point in trying. You have to live your life to it's fullest. Just be strong and I wish you the best of luck.
  • there is a site called calories per hour.com which has a pretty wide variety of excercises you could look up and probably get apretty good estimate of the calories you are burning.
  • Alright the last three weeks I lost 6lbs, this week I think I've gained about 2lbs back. I've been following my diet, if anything I haven't been eating enough maybe. I've been working out fairly hard, been packing 60lb pack four times a week four miles each time. Plus been doing some calisthenics on the side. I would think…
  • Don't worry about them being offended. You're doing it to better your health, and if they can't understand that then maybe they're not the kind of people you need to be around then anyways.
  • Well I don't know if you're necessarily a grinch, but if showing off their kids makes them happy and helps them make it through their day easier then so be it. We all just want to be happy right? It just happens you're not happy for the same reasons.
  • Thanks for the info, I wasn't really sure. Like I said I've been hitting it hard and only eating my 1900 calories and I've been starving to death. Though I've managed to stay on track, maybe it'll help me if I eat a little more.
  • Not sure how to ask this, so I'll do the best I can. When I first started on here I had to put in my info and they calculated how many calories I should eat a day which is about 1900 calories a day. Now that was with three days of excercise and 30 minutes a day. I've been doing a lot more then that and burning a whole lot…
  • one thing to remember when doing squats is to keep your chin up, if you do that it'll pretty much keep your back straight and help you to keep good form
  • Thank you for that information, it was really helpful to me. Thank you again. Have a good day.
  • I've been splitting wood alot here lately and I know I'm burning calories, because it's hard work. Does anyone know about how many calories you would burn an hour or how I can find out. If not does anyone know of any exercises that would be similar to it?
  • I've packing a 60lb bag 4miles about every other day. I was wondering if this is a good excercise or not. I really need to work on some cardio, I know I'll probably get some strength training out of it but is it helping my cardio? I usually try to jog about a fourth of the way in intervals. Any advice would be appreciated.
  • Congratulations and keep up the fight. Hope you meet all your goals. I've lost a whole whopping 6lbs since the beginning of the year, 44 more to go, lol.
  • When I have craving I'll usually just grab some veggies since they're pretty low in the calorie category and grab a large glass of water and drink it. Don't know if that'll help, hopefully it might help you. As for as the supplements for cravings, don't know much about that. Sorry can't be more of a help, have a good day…
  • Just keep you a small notepad and just write down what you eat throughout the day, then you don't have to remember it all at once. I don't know how everyone else fees, but to me it's really important to keep track of what I'm eating. It helps me to keep myself in check. Goodluck and hope this helps.
  • I've just started my diet and I need some help. Eating nothing but vegetables with my turkey or fish I've been eating is getting boring. Any ideas on some good healthy soups?
  • Well I just found this web site and I'm hoping it'll help. I've had a few minor health issues and I need to make some changes before they get worst. So hopefully with the help of some information off of here and support of people with some of the same goals I can get it done.
