43 here, 44 this July. I think 50 will be a rough one, but who knows, maybe I'll be fit and fabulous in my fifties!

Hello!

http://health.howstuffworks.com/wellness/natural-medicine/herbal-remedies/cinnamon-herbal-remedies.htm Cinnamon has lots of wonderful uses. But, you need to buy the good stuff, not a cheap bottle of ground cinnamon from your grocery spice isle. Does it help satisfy cravings and therefore curb appetite? I don't know. I have…

Well, the whole "reality tv" thing blows my mind anyway. WHY do people watch this stuff? Where did shows that were thrilling or dramatic go? Now we have to watch the sad reality of trashy families? The keep making them because America keeps watching them.

I love ANY recipe in Isa Chandra Moskowitz's cookbook "Appetite for Reduction", 125 vegan recipes. They are so awesome. Potato-spinach curry Potato-Spinach Curry (found in Appetite for Reduction by Isa Chandra Moskowitz) 2 teaspoons vegetable oil 1 tablespoon yellow mustard seeds 1 small onion, diced small 4 cloves garlic,…

I would LOVE to be 131. I'm the same height as you, and I am 39 years old. I weigh 182! Haven't weighed in my 130's since my early 20's. How old are you?

Do you eat back any exercise calories?
-
I see a lot of people use Chia seeds.... What is the benefit there? I use flax seeds and sometimes psyillium husk (fiber).
-
Me too! My Recipe: 1 scoop Sunwarrior vegan protein powder 1 cup almond milk 1 cup kale 1 banana 1 teaspoon flax seeds 1/2 cup frozen fruit (whatever I have in the freezer that is organic) :)

I'm 5'9 (well almost). ;-) Start weight - 190 Current weight - 182 Goal weight - 150 I'd be happy with anything between 145-155 though. I want to give myself a goal, and a goal range. Because from experience you are never always that goal weight.

EXACTLY! Check your local Organic grocery store. You can find many whole food/vegan/non additive powders that are way better for you than simple Whey protein. I use SUNWARRIOR protein powder. Here is my morning shake recipe: 1 cup Almond milk 1 scoop vegan shake protein powder 1 banana 1 cup kale 1/2 cup frozen berries or…

Does anyone use Benocol supplements to help their Cholesterol levels?

Thanks, I'll check it out!

Sounds good, thanks!

Good point. ;)

No. By choosing to base your calories at TDEE-20%, you do not eat back your exercise calories.

I have had great results with WW, prior to having kids. I just rejoined. For me, I like the meetings and the weigh in. I actually don't follow their point program, I follow MFP. I use MFP for tracking my food and exercise. I go to WW, because it's encouraging to talk with other people and sharing ideas. It's hard to do it…

Can you open your diary so we can see what you are eating? Also, are you measuring your foods or just guesstimating?
-
Cut your sugar down as well as your processed foods. Don't waste 480 calories on cliff bars. Eat more whole foods, veggies, fruits and whole grains.
-
Agreed. I do a little less sodium than you and more veggies and fruit. I am also about 250 calories per day less than you, and I try not to eat back my exercise calories. I would change it up and see if that works. Try going two weeks eating less calories, and maybe doing some strength training.

I have done WW three times, quite successfully and loved it! Now that I am done having children, I am on the weight loss train again. I have never had them give me a meal plan, only a guideline or sample plans in case we needed it. I love WW. So feel free to add me!

I did some great pregnancy workouts via dvd. I did pregnancy yoga, light walking, small arm weights, and water aerobics! Safe to do while pregnant, not too strenuous or cumbersome. I have a friend that made a dvd called "Chicks n Chickens, lullaby exercises". It's a soothing dance video for after you give birth too. Lots…

I LOVE Weight Watchers. Just started attending again, doing the monthly pass. I love going to meetings and finding so much from support from people who struggle with food, just like me. I like the pressure of having to weigh in front of someone each week. I have done weight watchers in the past after having kids, and it…
