I agree with this. Measuring is KEY!!! Exercise is important too, but basic nutrition will help you lose weight. So, measure everything!!! And, you might want to at least cut your carb intake and your sugar intake in half. This will help you lose more quickly.

Is it too late to join? I'd love to!

I'd like to join. I have between 15-20. Not sure what my goal is yet. :)

I agree with the above poster. Although, I did WW twice. Once the old way where there were no free foods, and once the new way. I quit, because I couldn't seem to lose or stick with it the new way.....

Feel free to add me. Although I don't have a lot of recipes to swap, my hubby cooks mostly. I have three kids and a full time job, so he ends up doing most of the cooking. :)

Totally. Me too.

Yes! I plan to be 25 pounds lighter by Christmas.

Well said. Thanks for posting.

I have a "ReliOn Auto Inflate Digital Blood Pressure", purchased at Walmart for about 40.00. Pharmacist recommended it. It is an arm one, not a wrist one. Its great, easy to use, and stores several readings in the memory. Also can detect abnormal heart rhythms. I am on a beta-blocker, and was told I should have my bp…

I am 5'7.5, and weigh 172. I fit in a 14, some 12's. :)

I drink approx. 60-75 ounces per day, and like the other poster, don't drink much else other than my morning coffee. I do flavor my water about half the time with crystal light. :)

Going over in your protein is not a problem. Perhaps, however, you could open up your diary for others to give advice on.

Eat two or three really big filling salads, with protein on top. You can stay within 1200. :)

Agreed. This really is key.... and it's taken me a very long time to realize it. If it's not in the house, i can't eat it!

Me: 9 Binge Monster: 1 Was doing great, until last night I ate three large tablespoons of peanut butter, followed by six fudgesicles. OOPS! Back on track today. I really should not buy fudgesicles......

Good for you Mike! You will find a lot of support here on MFP. Glad you joined.

My triggers are sugar. Candy, popsicles, ice cream, cookies, anything sweet. Once I eat one bite, it's all over. I will finish the container. How I deal with it? I don't buy it. If it's not in the house, I can't eat it. Occasionally, because sweets are out, I will start to binge on something else, usually late at night…

It totally understand what you are saying. I am a huge sugar addict. If I buy it, any will power I have normally goes out the window. So, I honestly don't buy it. If I am out at dinner and someone has some, I might have a little, don't want to deprive myself. But the key is not to bring it home. I also agree with the above…

Great job! I can totally see a difference. Keep it up girl!

Totally agree with this. Lots of people believe fasting is bad for you, starves your body of nutrients, etc.... but if you really exam the above methods of fasting one day a week, it has many benefits. I have tried eating until 5pm one day, then not eating again until 5 pm the next day. You still eat both days, just with a…

Interesting, might give this a shot. Thanks for posting!

My calories are set at 1340 on MFP. I usually exercise four to five times a week, gaining me anywhere from 150 -400 extra calories. On days I don't exercise I stay at or below 1340. On days I do exercise I eat net 1200-1400 depending on how much I exercised.
