This is dumb but if it helps fix labeling loopholes that allow crap like trans fats to sneak in while being labeled as 0g trans fat then I'm all for it. I salute you, gross oily veggie lovers.

Loooots of foods may be triggering your migraines. Gluten is a common one, I say give it a shot.

I am a bit over 5'4" with broad hips and shoulders. Me 52 lbs ago Me now

IMO, lifting weights would help. Lifting weights helps me keep my eyes on the prize by giving me little milestones to celebrate, so I can feel good about myself even when I don't see changes in my body or the scale or when I'm frustrated that my FRIGGING BUTT refuses to shrink or whatever.

The painkiller abuse is serious. Like, SERIOUS-serious. Forget the sex issue, work on the painkiller issue.

I was going to make a smartass comment about coming back after I wash the deep fried butter from my fingers, but then I remembered that I live south of the south.

Hi all, I started with 128 to lose so I know how crappy it is to begin. :) Feel free to add me if you'd like.

I don't have one, but I'm interested to see who does.

Oh boy.

I overcame my fatgirlitis and joined a wrestling school!

You can't target specific areas for fat loss, so just keep on reducing your body fat. Sucks, I know.
-
I eat mine back. The muscle under this fat was hard-earned through many years of lugging my fat *kitten* around. I REFUSE TO LOSE IT.

Are you going to honor your ethnic heritage with a sick tribal?

I started out with 128 pounds to lose, which was such a depressing number that I wanted to give up before I started. I tried to focus on hitting the 10 lb milestones to keep me from losing hope: get below 270, get below 260, and so forth. Just trying to keep your focus on the small milestones instead of the biggies should…

I see a difference in your arms, me thinks. Edit: I agree with your friend, your cheeks have lost some chub for sure.

Eat more protein and fiber

This Honestly I don't see why you are so upset? The pizza leftovers are his as well as yours. You can't expect him to stare half a pizza in the face for days as you slowly nibble 25 calorie bits off it. Also eat more

If you just increased your exercise your body is probably retaining water, it's very common. :) If you're exercising, make sure you are eating back at least some of your exercise calories (you want to try to net at least 1200 calories per day).

"Yes. I am awesome."

I looked at your diary and on your non-McDonald's days you don't seem to be eating very much, with a lot of your calories from processed foods like pretzels. I think your protein also seems low. I would try increasing my protein intake per day (aim for 100g per day) and trying to get more of my carbs from things like brown…
-
Definitely try boosting your calories. If 1600 seems too high, try for 1450 or 1500 and see if that works. I would try increasing protein as well, 100g per day is a good goal. I know people are going to say "a calorie is a calorie", but my husband and I BOTH tend to drop weight more easily when we eat fish instead of red…

It would be less distracting than the perky lady screaming at me to stop being a lazy lard, so yeah, probably.
-
Don't think of 100, think of the first 10 ... then the first 20 ... and so on. :) It adds up fast!
-
If you're eating at a defecit you aren't actually building new muscle. It's probably retained water.

I hear ya.

You might want to see a Dr, you could have a strained muscle or sports hernia.

Pascal Behrenbruch the German decathlete and most German looking guy of all time gets me all tingly.

Try eating back your exercise calories if you aren't already.
