My daughter is in Primary 3 at school here in Scotland, and she was taught this year about foods, calories, healthy foods, junk foods and things like protein, nutrition, dairy, fruit and grains, etc. I felt she learned a lot although she is skinny (some people think she is underweight sometimes) she still eats junk food. I…

Hi, I had the same problem yesterday due to having my time of the month. I knew it was terrible but really felt down so had the crap junk food (which didn't even taste that good). But on a good note, if you think to yourself and you know you done it, don't let it get you down. It's ONE day not a full week of doing it.…

I'm 5ft 4" and I'm now 14st but the last time I measured myself I was around 14st 8lbs and my measurements were (at that point):- Hips: 48" Chest: 41 1/2" Waist: 34" There are loads of reasons people are different, i.e. their build, whether they are big hipped or small, broad shouldered or not. I don't think you are lying.…

I'm doing a Charity Skydive (Cancer Research/Macmillan Cancer) in July (hopefully). So once I get under 14st (the weight which you can't be over) I'm going to set a date and then start raising the money. I'm excited but scared at the same time although I know I'm doing it for a good cause (my gran was diagnosed a couple of…

Yeah, I'm in the UK, I got them in my local Morrisons. They were £3.00 each for those ones. They also had the 10 minute solution dvds and other ones too. If not, you should be able to get them on Amazon or that. :) Hope this helps :)

I work in an office where I sit on my bum most of the day (9-5). Lunch is 1hr 15 mins so I try to go out and walk most days just to save me snacking on anything. I used to sit and have chocolate or crisps all the time where I now have my set time to have a piece of fruit and my tea and then time lunch comes I'm okay.

I got one recently saying something along the lines of "I came across your profile picture and had such a strong vibe so I just had to sit down and write to you". Its mad what some folk write.

I had porridge today for my breakfast!

Hiya, good luck on your journey to losing the weight. I've not long started my journey and so far what's motivated me is the people on here and also my six year old daughter as I want to be able to go on holidays and actually manage to do things with her. Hope you find the motivation easily :) x

Thanks to everyone who has replied, this has helped me so much to kickstart my healthy eating to lose weight again. Today, I have brought in everything that I am going to eat and if I get tempted, I will instead take one of my pieces of fruit. I feel so happy today now that I know in my heart I (1) have to do it and (2)…

I might keep a wee journal myself. I have started to take everything I am going to eat to work with me too. It's so much easier as then I don't have to keep money on me to go buy myself anything and therefore I'm less tempted to buy any sweets, crisps, etc. Do you know what you are going to be eating the next day/week
