Congrats on the new weight. I couldn't weigh myself daily. When I retain water there can be a 10 pound difference sometimes. I couldn't handle the ups and downs daily. Weekly is hard enough for me and once I get settled into a good routine, it will likely become monthly.

1. Stay under calorie goal every day this week. 2. Get in a walk each day the weather allows. 3. Get some house work done.

I had mine removed shortly after my 13th birthday. The night of my birthday, I had intense pain. I had had pains before off and on for months, but nothing like this. The next day, we went to the doctor, and they performed an emergency appendectomy. All was well for about 2 weeks, when the same pain started again. After…

Who knows. You could have lost fat, but be retaining water. For some people, water retention can cause your weight to fluctuate up to 10 pounds or more. Give it time. Make adjustments as needed.

MPF tells you what your net calories should be. What does it say?

I have nothing to go on but my opinion, but I wouldn't jump straight into the HIIT unless you are already used to working at a pretty high cardio level. I would try several different types of cardio, and find the one you enjoy the most. I myself like to do a variety of different cardio machines. The more you enjoy it, the…

For you. Some people love math. :flowerforyou:

1) some people don't like admitting they don't get it 2) some people have test anxiety 3) don't just take his word for it. Don't just look at what he has done, but have him EXPLAIN what he has done. Often students can mimic the steps without any real understanding, and when there is a slight difference to the problem, have…

First of all, I am obviously in the minority here. I am good at math. I love math. I get paid to do math. That being said, part of my job is helping people understand math. Judging by some of the things you said, I don't think it is necessarily a "Lazy" problem. He is doing his work in other classes and is passing those.…

a year and a half ago, after being separated for 6 months, I knew I needed to make a change. After seeing a couple of my friends were using this website and having good results, I decided to join in. In 6 months, I had lost 58 pounds. Then I "fell off the wagon" for about a year. Dabbling with it here and there, but not…

pics of kitties, which I'm sure will find there way into this thread. I just don't have any in a sharable format at the moment. :)

gym at work. Just wish the hours were a little better

I love this machine. It took some getting used to, but once I did, it was great.

Right. Which is why it is "Math" :drinker:

see, I never understood calling it "maths" instead of math. Why is it plural? Now, "doing the numbers" that fine. But not maths. It just looks wrong to me.

This is my first time losing a large amount of weight, so I have never tried maintenance before. I can't even think that far ahead right now.

I know what you mean about not wanting to go to the doctor. A few years ago, I had a hernia. I lived with it for a long time, until it got big enough that it started getting stuck. After a trip to the emergency room, I went to my PCP (who I had never seen before, but had picked because I was familiar with the office he…

I get it the other way. If I try to give someone advice (because they are looking for it), I get the whole "what do you know about weight loss? You're fat" attitude. Yeah, I know I'm fat. Thanks for that. But I have dropped 50 pounds. And I know HOW to do it, even if I don't look like I do.

that was great.

And you got in before without one?

shoulda got the wristband Oh wait, wrong thread.....carry on

That is only 1230 calories eaten. You will burn a large chunk of that (or even all) with your walk to and from work. You need to eat more!
