I'm way too honest after a few drinks. :drinker:

ETA: I also speak foreign languages totally fluently when I'm drunk. It's the truth! Does that happen to anyone else? When I lived abroad, we used to have a grand old time when we got drunk with other foreigners. :)

Not only are you more apt to tell the truth... But also share that truth via social media and text messages to old girlfriends.

 Agree with this 100% ...including the shaking of head and groans. Also includes a slight nauseous feeling.

I think it's easier to lose the filter between your brain and your mouth. I'm not sure it's always honesty though. Sometimes I just blab things without thinking!

No. They are less inhibited, but more prone to over-exaggerrated feelings.

So while they might like some one, when they are drunk the LOVE THEM AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS and sleep with them, only to regret it.

Yes! Alcohol affects the same part of your brain that controls emotions/thoughts.

If you google this, lots of studies come up. Here's an article roughly explaining what happens:

"The three areas that were mostly working in the process of lying were the anterior cingulated cortex, the dorsal lateral prefrontal cortex and the parietal cortex. When a person is experiencing inebriation, certain parts of the brain is affected as well, such as the cerebral cortex. The cerebral cortex is the part of the brain that processes information from your senses and thoughts. So when the cerebral cortex is affected by alcohol it leads to poor judgment and higher cognitive functions. Thus, making the person's speech full of facts and exaggerations."

    http://www.examiner.com/article/can-alcohol-act-as-a-truth-serum

In other words, you're more likely to be honest. Poorer judgement = no filter.

I can't totally blame alcohol....I've done some pretty stupid things sober too.
