I suggest hydrating well the days before, eat basic like you have been in training, don't wear anything new. Make it feel like another training run. If you have a Fleet Feet Sports store near you they do group running programs. They're awesome and very helpful. If not try any running specialty store near you. I agree with the Good Form Running as well.

I agree don't put them in the washing machine ever and Never in the dryer! I work at a specialty running store where we "fit" people for shoes. I suggest looking for a running store near you and have them fit you.

Before my workout in the morning I eat a double fiber Thomas english muffin with either peanut butter or almond butter. 1Tbls. can cover both sides. It seems to stay with me for quite a while.
