  • Personally for me, if I eat eggs in the morning I feel full for a long time. I discovered this when I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. I ate only meat, eggs, and green beans. Not only did I lose 10 pounds in my last month of pregnancy (I was 50 pounds over weight by then) I always felt full. I did eat other things,…
  • Adding insult to injury: Don't worry folks. The people in charge of this were put on paid leave. That's right. Tax payers are giving them a paid vacation for this.
  • Just bought a food scale from Amazon and I love it. It's so easy and they really aren't that expensive! I find measuring pasta is so hard. Luckily I only have to cook for me and my daughter so I normally measure out 4 servings and when it's done cut it in half (for 2 servings) or cut it in half twice for 1 serving.
  • Ask him, "What do I need to do to get you to do your homework?" Then suggest a tutor? Perhaps a tutor (someone near his age) can help persuade him to get his homework done?
  • We must have been taught to cook by the same person.
  • IF they complain they are crazy! It's more pizza and beer for them! :drinker:
  • Way to go! You look amazing!
  • That's what I was thinking too. I just didn't want to admit it to myself I guess.
  • When your coworker brings in one of your favorite things to eat (Fast food, Pizza, Etc) and it smells so good but you know if you eat it you will be either working out more or trying to cut your calories somewhere else! So not worth it! Must walk away!
  • Lansing... to Owosso... to probably Kalamazoo next fall!

  • When I had gestation diabetes a simple glass of skim milk could send my numbers flying. I totally get it. It can be so frustrating!
  • When I had just completed a diet that had me go from 155 to 137 I had resident (I worked as a leasing agent for an apartment complex) come up to me and look at me and act confused. Then she says, have you lost weight? And I smiled and say yes. Then she says "Wow you look great you used to be" then she puffed her cheeks out…
  • There is only one thing more annoying than the soft glow of the smart phone in front of you while someone is texting during a movie... and that is the sound of a gun going off killing the person that is texting in the same theater as you. Now THAT is distracting!
  • I was 18 when I moved out and never moved back. I loved being on my own and still love it. I couldn't imagine living with my parents!
  • Ultrasound Technician. LOVE it.
  • I am surprised by all the Target replies. I got my work out shorts there and I love them. I thought I was just being cheap and lazy by going to Target and not some "work out store."
  • I weigh in every Sunday with very few exceptions. I used to weigh in twice a week but I can't stand seeing an increase in weight. I take it as a failure and it gets me down. I know in my mind that isn't true, but for some reason I can't handle seeing an increase. So on occasion if sunday comes and I feel I didn't do my…
  • One of my old phones had that ring tone. I really enjoyed it. I may have to find it again.
  • My cell phone rings like a phone. You know, "briiiiing! briiinnng!" Call me old fashioned.
  • False-no where near the coast. TNP is thinking about taking up photography.
  • I started at home while it was winter and while I was obese. Now I am just overweight and it's spring so I run outside and go for long bike rides with my 38 pound daughter on the back of the bike. The view is so much better outside than inside a gym. Oh, and it's free.
  • 1. Your bath towel doesn't fully close anymore. 2. You can't hardly bend far enough to cut your toe nails. 3. You lie down to go to sleep and your belly lies down next to you.
  • I can cross the monkey bars without falling down.
  • here's my weird list, but it works for me. Fame (yes, from the movie) Greased Lightnin' (yes, from the musical) Sexy and I know it (I am getting bored of this song though) Go Harder (This song I put at the end for my last stretch. It's by 'Off the Record'.
  • Hmm, i liked it, but i prefer Runkeeper. I guess it's just easier for me to run to music than talking. Don't get me wrong, i liked Zombies, Run! , but i like Runkeeper better. Zombies Run! has music too, but I found it confusing to figure out when to run and when to slow down. I did like it when I turned off the zombie…

  • Great work! :drinker:
  • I know how this feels. I played with my daughter for the first time at the park this year. (She's 4 and a half) Normally I would have sat on the bench and watched. Now I am out there going down the slides and I even crossed the monkey bars! THIS IS HUGE. Congratulations!!!
