let's see...peer pressure (not wanting to appear to be picking over food at work or social functions), the feeling of defeat (if i eat this i'm still going to weigh about the same as i do now tomorrow, so i may as well), being angry or sad and just wanting something "good," eating too quickly and not tasting my food or…

I did weightwatchers approximately 2 years ago. i lost with it but decided i was tired of paying $18 a month for an online option to track in their system which didn't include many of the foods i eat, which caused anxiety, and so i started with myfitnesspal for free. i never did the meetings. the only difference really…

i'm on my second mirena. first one inserted in early 2008. i suffered from migraines prior to getting it and didn't see an increase in the frequency, severity, or duration. i gained weight since getting them too but my weight was directly correlated to my low level of physical activity and high caloric intake...

jaycie, sounds like we have the same body type and problem areas. glad you asked this question. the feedback from everyone is helpful! so, i guess we just keep creating the calorie deficit, strengthening the core, and adding in weights...and eventually, we'll get there!

my main struggle is continuing to track even when i feel like i've got the process/standard meals down. i often feel like i don't need an app or to have to "DO all this" to lose. but then, when i don't, i eat like a fool and gain! so, sticking with the process of logging and eating more healthily. also, sometimes my "cheat…

i started gaining in my mid-20's after i had my first kid. i didn't change my eating habits (overeating, emotional eating, eating fast food) or incorporate any exercise, so having a sedentary job and eating without any restraint led me to where i am today, approximately 30 lbs. overweight, with most of it being abdominal…

i have just cooked the box and then divided and weighed it after the fact based on the number of serving sizes that the label says are in the box. i think it ended up being like 4oz. cooked.

i don't want to HAVE to, only, i don't know how i'm going to NOT, unless i eventually just end up being more of a protein, fruits, veggies eater and stay away from more processed foods...

in THIS moment, i feel like i will probably log and try to still come in under calories for the week. maybe not the DAY, but the week. the things i'm craving so far aren't so bad for you, in moderation. we normally have lots of veggie dishes that we serve, too.

that i'm still eating better and logging and not feeling discouraged.

inches, i think. i wouldn't care really what the numbers on the scale said if i didn't look middle-heavy.

I'm in, too. 180-ish, 5'4.5", & trying to stop being a yo-yo dieter...In need of support and accountability partners...

i have a fitbit zip, which just clips on your belt or shirt, and i like it. even if i don't exercise, if i have a day where i'm walking around a little more than normal, i get exercise calories added in. i can see the number of steps walked or calories burned so far for the day just by looking at it's screen. i don't…
