NSV over food

I don't mean to offend anyone by what I'm about to say, but I can't believe I didn't start at 330 instead of 230. For years I have eaten whatever I wanted and when I wanted with very little exercise. My typical days were McDonalds breakfast (an easy 700 calories), a bag of chips or candy bar mid morning, some fast food for lunch, another 800-1000 calories, another mid day snack of either cookies, candy, or chips, and for dinner I would eat southern fried cooking. My average day was probably what people averaged at Thanksgiving. It makes me so sick to my stomach to think about--and it was only 4 months ago!!!!
So to my NSV--I love my food scale and I just spent my night measuring food and putting it in containers for easy use. I can't believe that in 4 months this is actually my life. For once I care about myself! I've only lost 40lbs and have another 40 to go, but I feellike no matter how long it takes to get to where I want to be--I CAN DO IT BECAUSE I LOVE IT! I LOVE ME!

Awesome! I love your attitude- it's great when you get to the point that you're more confident in guess-timating ounces on the go, as well. It's really empowering to start seeing what portions really look like. Good work, keep it up!0
