I've only lost 17 pounds on MFP (but 30 total) BUT... I can stay on the elliptical for 60 with the tension on extra high instead of 5 minutes with the tension on the lowest setting. I am wearing size 4s and 6s instead of 12s and 14s I sweat like a nasty ole pig in the gym and could care less. I curl way more than the 5…

It's mostly that you are a constant reminder of what they could do but won't. Just keep on being yourself. You'll make new friends with similar interests.

Now that's how you do it together! Great story and Happy Anniversary!

At this weight the only way I can get a good calorie burn is to raise the incline. I keep it at an incline of 15 for the 60 minutes, speed 4.0-4.5 mph. I hold on but walk upright so that I feel that in my calves, thighs and glutes. I do a two minute warm up and cool down. I am drenched afterward so I figure I burned enough.

You look good to me too. I never worry about going over fiber and protein. If I go over carbs/sugar, I look at where that's coming from. Looks like yours is coming from fruits and vegetables. I agree with others, increasing protein won't hurt you none and try to hit the net calorie goal of at least 1000-1200 eating back…

A good solid 2 ounce ice cream scooper. On a cone, two of these scoops is a real nice treat. And I can quick measure 4 ounces of ground meat or a half cup of mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, cottage cheese, etc. Food scale, measuring cups and spoons. A portion control must. A really good non-stick skillet. No need for a lot…

I was having the same problem because like you, I'm getting very close to my goal weight. I made a couple changes: One, I started eating closer to my net calorie goal. I try to keep my net intake at around 1000 or so, in case I underestimate. Making this adjustment helped a LOT because my net intake would be around 600 or…

LOL...definitely this! Add when you have to roll your undies off afterward to take a shower.

I log as I go most of the time. If I know I'm going someplace out for a meal, I will log before hand so that I don't eat a lot for breakfast or snacks that day. Smart phone does make it easy.

LOL that's cute. I notice the improved posture and the relief of chronic pain. Is it just me but on the days I lift I am absolutely RAVENOUS..

Agreed! SOOO sick of that one!

Same calorie burn but less chance of injury due to low impact. I would highly recommend.

ROFLMAO...now that's damned funny!

Nice transformation. Thanks for the inspiration.

I agree, this is not about you. But playing a little bit of the Devil's advocate here. I'm 5'7", and just hit 134 and I still have too much fat on my middle. At my heaviest, I was 170 pounds which I could easily carry without looking heavy because I am tall. But since I can remember when I broke 100 pounds (which wasn't…

I agree. Get yourself a good food scale, set of measuring cups and teaspoons and that will help. You can add me.

At the beginning, it is much more important to meet the calorie goals. It is okay to eat the calories you burn in exercise then too. Just be sure you drink plenty of water (at least 8 glasses), take a multi vitamin and stay under your net calories for the day. At the beginning that is enough to do. Now if you have foods…

What I had to start telling people is that since no one felt compelled to say... "Oh my God! How fat are you trying to get? You don't need to gain anymore weight. I'm getting concerned about your health." They do not now get to say... "Oh my God! How skinny are you trying to get? You don't need to lose any more weight. I'm…

LOL now that's the truth!

Well put. Feel free to add me.
