  • drinking one atkins shake every 2 hours or 7 shakes per day and 8 oz of water in between! plus any free food allowed on atkins diet... ex. salad with calorie free dressing
  • lol... you are most likely correct! each shake is 160 cal and 15 g of prot. supplemented with all essentials. there are many medical fast that do the same thing. is bound to be healthier the atkins high fat...induction phase, which so many people do eggs, cheese, bacon..... talk about unhealthy!

  • yes... well coffee and cream in mornings...no sugar salad and low fat dressing is a free food
  • just changed calorie level to 1200 per day.... this means I will drink 6-7 shakes per day to give 112 g prot. and 14 g cho this higher shake/calorie level should aid with protein sparing! we want to lose fat... not muscle. i am 10 lbs over wt.....and it is all belly fat well inner thigh and butt too!!
