Baby spinach, red pepper/capsicum, olives, pickled onions, red onion, fetta, sweet corn kernels, grape tomatoes, butter beans and sundried tomato strips all mixed up together with a tiny bit of the oil from the sundried tomatoes.

Thanks everyone :)

Great! Anyone else?

I honestly don't understand people who would refuse to eat something they don't like in absolutely all circumstances. There are a few things I can't stand and I would never cook or order them and if someone invites me to dinner I'll let them know beforehand but if I'm served something I don't like I choke it down. For this…

A friend of mine recently told me that she broke up some rice cakes into pop corn sized pieces and took them to the cinema. I thought it was really clever!

I've worked in many different coffee shops including a few different chains and I would say you're probably getting what you ask for about 2/3 of the time. I think most places are very concerned with not keeping you waiting so they will probably try to give you skim unless that means you have to wait for whatever reason.…

I have a Garmin 610 which is fabulous but quite pricey. The chest strap doesn't bother me at all. In fact, yesterday I wore it roller skating and then later went out for dinner with friends and when I got back home and went to change I was very surprised to see that I had been wearing the chest strap all day without even…

Best advice ever?

In winter I usually wear my shorts under my long pants so that I can just take them off for my workout and put them back over the top when I leave. I've got a few different bottoms but my favourite are my nike running shorts with the tights underneath and loose shorts on top. I'm still wearing them even though they're 3…

Another vote for Garmin: I have the 610 and am in love with it!

Day 2 of Bridge 2 10K! Feel free to add :)

When I said 'just discovered' I meant literally just bought it when i went grocery shopping so after actually trying it now I would probably stick to the Cathedral City for the extra 8 calories which has quite a strong flavour :)

What gets me is when I see couples that have been together for years breaking up. Surely at some point they thought of each other as 'the one' and then they've ended up apart so what makes my situation different? Did those people always know they weren't right for each other? Also, as someone who questions everything, I…

Does cooked fish really smell that bad? I've never noticed :/ But I certainly do notice when someone who has been smoking stands/sits next to me and I feel like i'm going to choke because of the smell or when someone is wearing too much perfume and so if people complain about what I'm eating (I've had this with a few…

There have been about a thousand topics with this question so I'm sure you could get loads of recommendations if you did a search :)

The Tesco light mozzarella balls are really nice, too!

I usually use Cathedral City Mature Lighter slices for 62 calories a slice but I just discovered Leerdammer Lightlife which is 54 calories a slice. I always buy the pre-sliced cheese even though it works out more expensive by volume (and even though I insist on buying EVERYTHING else in bulk) to make portion control that…

I don't think it's designed for you to be able to change the time but you could maybe tell it you're in a different time zone? Maybe figure out which time zone would be at midnight at whatever time you usually wake up and tell fitbit that's where you are?
-
When you link MFP with Fitbit, MFP will start asking you for a start time when you log exercise. It then overrides the calories fitbit thinks you burned for that period you were exercising. I find that the easiest way to take note of the exact time is just to hit the timer on the fitbit (by holding in the button on the…

My understanding is that all of these diet drinks have some calories (500ml of diet coke has 2 calories in the UK at least) and so I always log them because every little bit counts!
-
You don't have to sync them. I love being able to see how active I am and find it really interesting to see how my TDEE changes from day to day when I do different things. It might also be a useful way for you to get a better idea of what your TDEE actually is for making your calorie calculations. The sleep cycle function…

Maybe you could try eating slightly less during the week so that you have more calories 'saved up' for the weekend? Eg. Eat 100 calories less everyday during the week so that on Saturday you could eat 500 more than your goal and still lose the same amount of weight. This is what I tend to do :)

If you have a Zizzis near by, aside from salad being the obvious one, they also do small versions of some of their pizzas served with side salads which total around 500 calories. From memory I think there is a similar option with pasta. Their menu is available online, anyway! (Edited for a typo)

You times the total by 0.3 to get the total for 30 grams (or 30% of the total). So if it says 245 calories that's 245 x 0.3 = 73.5 calories for the 30g.

Anyone can feel free to add me :) I only started running last year and have done a few 5k events but I'm signed up for a 10k in March and my goal is to complete a half marathon by the end of the year.

I find tea helps. Especially the sweeter ones like red berry. I used to just make sure I had enough calories left to have a treat after dinner but then I ended feeling like I NEEDED something every night so I try not to do it too regularly (1-3 times a week rather than everyday). Maybe if you struggle through and break the…
