Okay, I have a FitBit coming and have a HR monitor; my question is: If the FitBit automatically logs my calories burned on My Fitness Pal (that understood) for the day...... while working out, using my HR monitor, wanting to log calories of the workout in, will I not be logging that portion of my day 2x's? In other words, I hear people wear their FitBit all day......do you take it off if doing a workout w/ a HR monitor?

Log the calories from your HRM onto MFP and these calories will override those of the fitbit.0

When you link MFP with Fitbit, MFP will start asking you for a start time when you log exercise. It then overrides the calories fitbit thinks you burned for that period you were exercising. I find that the easiest way to take note of the exact time is just to hit the timer on the fitbit (by holding in the button on the One) when starting my HRM and ending them at the same time. Then I just check the start time on the fitbit dashboard when logging my exercise in MFP.0
